this is my control deck that has many win cons built right in it.Ive taken a few tips from the pro's but with the current meta i felt i knew a few other ways to build this deck to make it fight well against all types of decks from tokens to big creatures to other control decks.

Been playing FNM's at my local shop with this deck for a month or so and almost everyone i've played has only had good things to say about it. In fact one of the guys who has been playing since 1999 said that my deck was one of the best control decks he has seen ever in standard.

Just been doing a lot with this deck to better suit my local meta. Ive been coming up against a lot of red in my local and to help combat anything red i came up with my own little combo to give me the sustain to survive until a board clearing ugin. this combo works great maybe better than the what i originally thought it would. Rakshasa Deathdealer + Feed the Clan has done amazing in and out of FNM's. i mean Feed the Clan is just fine on its own and does great work even without death dealer. Deathdealer is a great defensive card and a great offensive card and is really hard to get rid of in a control deck.

Please feel free to leave me comments i would like to hear what you think (good or bad).

Had a really fun night getting to play the new list of cards and play testing for the first time with the new list. ended the night in 7th place 4 round standings going 2-1-1.

1st game vs Esper control 1-1-1 TIED This was such a close match up 1st round we traded answer for answer he played ugin late game and -6 to wipe the board i then played garruk next turn killed ugin he top decked 2nd ugin and -7 to kill garruk lol. i had 1 kiora and 1 ashiok left in my deck as my last 2 win cons which he countered and downfalled the other. he had nothing after 2nd ugin lol so we proceeded to draw until we were out of cards in our deck i won round 1 by 1 card lol was crazy. 2nd game got 2 Grindclock's onto the field and an ashiok he Banishing Light and Utter End my clocks then ugin'd my ashiok and killed me with ugin bc i found 0 answers for him fast enough. we didn't have time for round 3 so we had a tie.

2nd game vs burn won 2-0 1st and 2nd round were pretty basic just burn burn burn played a few staple cards and i wiped the board got garruk and dragon on the field killed him with those first game 2nd round got Palace Siege on the field and it pretty much killed him he couldn't beat the clock i gave him.

3rd game vs sultai whip won 2-0 1st round was so much fun watching his face as he played a creature then seeing it change instantly when i answer it same or next turn lol. i got Silumgar, the Drifting Death onto the field and started his timer with that. he would play a creature to block it and i would kill it before i attacked lol he was super hating the first round. he couldn't answer the dragon so i won round 1. round 2 i probably made a mistake by bringing in 2 Grindclock vs him but i figured he is milling himself so why not help him. got an early clock on the board got it to 4 and played ashiok. went to mill town for 7 for about 3 turns then he downfalled ashiok. hit me a few times i wiped the board with crux all the mean while milling 4 per turn. got 2nd clock on the field and up to 2. milled him out while keeping any bad stuff from hitting with negate and counters. he told me i was bad for bringing in Grindclock against him but hey it did exactly what i intended it to do for me which was to mill him all out lol.

4th game vs naya midrange/aggro/dragons lost 0-2 1st round was a crazy match was back and forth he played 3 creatures i wiped them then i played a walker he would kill it next turn. just a really tough match. it was really long and fun though he ended it with a Stormbreath Dragon i just had nothing to kill it with and he killed me in 2 turns with it. 2nd round he just got out of control getting 3 walkers on the field. got menages, ajani mentor, and elspeth plus a hydra at 5 so he had too much presence for me to fight really. no answer to that.

Conclusion:

Just decided my game 1 vs control was tough with all my creature hate. i feel that my deck is really well equipped to handle aggro's or midrange's but super weak with control and having like 9 cards in sideboard coming in for control match ups was being too devoted to one type of archetype i feel was weighing the SB too much so bringing in Duress and dropping some creature hate had to be done so i dropped Aetherspouts. i also felt that 4x Satyr Wayfinder is too much so i dropped a satyr and a Murderous Cut to include Silumgar's Command Because my buddy that runs B/U control said it is a money card even if it is 5 mana its still great gets a walker and counters or returns another walker or even blights a creature works just great. I took this into consideration and with the fight i had with the naya match tonight i decided this is a must against control or some sort of midrange/walker strategy.
