The deck is a typical green stompy deck with a bit of added recursion. The spirit synergies are fun and soulshift, while slow, can generate quite a bit of value (especially when paired with a sacrifice outlet). This deck is admittedly pretty weak, but green ramp gives you a chance to keep up by playing extra cards per turn, the recursion is a form of card advantage, and the deck is surprisingly interactive (fog effects are quite fun in creature heavy metas).

Draw: Show

• Abundance- Not really draw, but ensures you get action if you want it or lands if you need it

• Adventurous Impulse- Green cantrip effect

• Carven Caryatid- Draw that can trigger our Spirit payoffs and then can be thrown in front of an attacker.

• Commune with Nature- Green cantrip effect

• Elder Pine of Jukai- A way to thin our deck and guarantee land drops, this card is surprisingly good

• Harmonize

• Haru-Onna- Repeatable cantrip is nice

• Primordial Sage- Probably the best spirit in the deck.

• Shamanic Revelation- Great on a wide board.

Fog: Show

• Druid's Deliverance- Fog effect that may incidentally give you another spirit token

• Fog

• Haze of Pollen- Cycling is nice

• Lull- Cycling is nice

• Respite- A little bit of lifegain bonus

• Winds of Qal Sisma- One sided fog is nice

Ramp: Show

• Grow for the Ashes

• Kodama's Reach- Best card in the deck. Not even kidding.

• Loam Dweller- Absolutely awesome in the early game. Bad every other stage of the game.

• Nissa's Pilgrimage

• Petalmane Baku- Good for a lategame mana boost

• Rampant Growth

• Ranger's Path

Random Spirits: Show

• Dripping-Tongue Zubera- Leaves another spirit behind

• Hana Kami- Return an arcane card (let's be real, Kodama's Reach is what you want to return) is good utility.

• Kodama of the North Tree- One of the better beaters in the deck

• Permeating Mass- Interesting political card for deterring attacks

• Phantom Nantuko- A pretty good blocker

• Shinen of Life's Roar- The channel can enable an alpha strike and the lure effect on the board can do the same but is telegraphed

• Soilshaper- Decent way to generate extra damage mid and late game

• Traproot Kami- Great early and mid game blocker

Removal: Show

• Ambuscade- Instant speed one-sided fight with a small pump

• Arashi, the Sky Asunder- Snipe flyers or wipe flyers, helps cover up a big weakness of the deck

• Nature's Claim- Such an efficient spell

• Pounce- Instant speed fight

• Prey Upon- Efficient fight effect

• Rabid Bit- One sided fight effect

• Rending Vines- Conditional, which is bad. Cantrips, which is good. And it's an arcane spell which helps our payoffs

• Return to Earth- Expensive, but instant speed and hits a variety of targets

• Unravel the Aether- Good against indestructible or recursion

• Wear Away- You will probably never splice this card, but it triggers our payoffs

Sacrifice: Show

• Carnage Altar- Drawing cards is cool

• Evolutionary Leap- An underplayed sacrifice outlet, gets a ton of value if you sacrifice a soulshift creature in response to it being removed

• Lifespinner- Tutor up Arashi for removal, Bounteous Kirin for lifegain, or Kodama of the South Tree to try and win.

• Starved Rusalka- A spirit the enable soulshift and is an early game play

Soulshift: Show

• Burr Grafter- Very small pump effect, but can change combat math

• Forked-Branch Garami- Soulshift twice is awesome

• Harbinger of Spring- The protection from spirits is nice

• Kodama of the Center Tree- Needs a REALLY wide board to be any good

• Nightsoil Kami- Decent body

• Rootrunner- Fun to ruin a topdeck or mess with a top-of-library tutor

• Venerable Kumo- Blocks flyers which is nice

Spirit Payoffs: Show

• Bounteous Kirin- Late game the lifegain can help stabilize, pretty weak body. Nice to have a flyer, though

• Briarknit Kami- Repeatable pump is nice

• Kami of the Hunt- A small pump on a small body, but hey, it's a green spirit

• Kodama of the South Tree- A win condition with a wide board
