So Aether Revolt has come out and introduces a few possible changes. Mainly, I've for now just changed out Verdurous Gearhulk for Freejam Regent due to the Clue-Improvise interaction. Feels like the deck needs some bombs, so Chandra, Flamecaller in and Arlinn Kord   out. Considering upping the number of Tempers for early game stability.

Old text:Credit to geneticfreak09c for Rise of the Elementals! (Updated Post Rotation), as well as divinagon for ideas provided in Jund Landfall. A while back, the former inspired the making of a Temur-landfall deck (based on Kiora, Master of the Depths + Sarkhan Unbroken and some big-hitters), which this again is somewhat based on.

I decided for setting up a different ramp strat: Ghirapur Orrery + Noose Constrictor . This seems like a decent offensive/defensive strategy, actually. Drop your hand to boost Constrictor with X/X, refill the next upkeep and dig until you get enough mana for your finishers. Additionally, Splendid Reclamation can give you an insane amount of mana just after a few cycles with the combo. This should naturally be good for all the cards in your deck, especially Omnath, Locus of Rage.

With a "free" discard-mechanic, a few madness cards wouldn't hurt. Fiery Temper/ Avacyn's Judgment seems like a couple solid alternatives. The latter scales decently as your mana base should increase.

White introduces a few nice options; Needle Spires + Sylvan Advocate goes without saying. Potentially having a few (or dozen) 5/5 elementals spawned with Omnath, then playing Planar Outburst for massive damage straight to the face can be a game ender (if not fogged). More ideal than Fumigate since it doesn't target any creatures made with Nissa (or a Wall of Resurgence for example).
