Some small changes

Nothing big here, just some meta tweaks. Adding another snare to the side because it seems that folks are going a bit Chalice happy, and switching Burst for Pillar, because Pod.
People are now talking about Dig bans. I hope it says afloat, because there really isn't much card selection in Modern. There's draw and scry, but not much selection. Plus, if both Dig and Cruise get banned, this means the only changes Khans brought to the format will be Swifty and Rhino. Meh.
As it is, it seems that the format is beginning to adapt. I do want to see things become more than "Steam Vents vs. Overgrown Tomb," but I'm not sure if too many bannings are the way to go (especially since a few people have mentioned that they worry about investing in new Modern staples if they're just gonna get banned. I hope the format picks up in popularity, because it's fun stuff. :D

I've done some major testing in the last few weeks and come to the conclusion that waste not, is a sideboard card! It is a great card and wins is the key to wining the mirror, and helps beat Ascendancy as they discard so much stuff! But it better most game having bob. I've added in a single copy staff of the death magus to gain a bit of life back! And it's done wonders so far!Tournament Results

Have played the deck twice so far, in casual multiplayer, won both times. First game was against Abzan tokens, and an enchantment Tron which wasn't able to pick up speed fast enough. Second was against those two again and a white heroic deck, which ended with me at 42 life thanks to lifelink shenanigans.Fetchlands and comment reset

Played 1v1 against some fast building soldier decks and got beat up pretty good early game... until all their soldiers became servants to the abyss. Won 4 out of 5 times. Played 1v1 against a nasty planeswalker deck and had similar results. Took some nasty beatings early game, but then used my nasty mid game creatures, coupled with my opponents dead creatures to finish up. Pretty pleased so far. It's not going to win any awards, but it gets the job done.Fadaram, 9 years ago

One week after I have made this deck I was not able to play with it as much as I wanted mainly because two problems caused by the two tutors of this deck ( Vampiric Tutor and Demonic Tutor ):
- First is the fact that this cards are both restricted in Vintage and banned Legacy with make this deck only viable in Casual format.
- Second is that even in the Casual format in the place I normally play a major number of casual players refuses play against tutoring decks.
Since I want play with this deck and since the beginning I never had a well-planned path for it I decided I might as well modify it in a way that it will still works relatively the same way but achieving the following objective:
- Must be Legacy legal.
- Must have the capability to make possible win the game in the first 3 turns of the game.
- The total average budget must not go over 450$.
- The main combo will be Dark Depths + Vampire Hexmage .
With this in mind I came up with a concept I have not been using since Zendikar block. Make a One Off Deck were every single card job is support directly or indirectly the main combo. With this decided the first thing I did was remove every card in the deck that was of no use to my main combo Dark Depths + Vampire Hexmage , so:
- 2xCrypt Ghast, 4xGuul Draz Vampire, 2xMirri the Cursed, 2xPhyrexian Obliterator, 2xVampiric Tutor and 2xDemonic Tutor were removed from the main deck.
Next since I wanted keep a similar working format to the one I had before without the use of tutoring cards I figured the next best thing was make a Reanimate deck. This is a deck were instead of tutoring cards from library to hand to play them to the battlefield I will "tutor" cards from the library to the graveyard and them "tutor" them again from the graveyard to the battlefield. So the following cards were added to the main deck:
- 4xEntomb will be the main tutor to place cards from library into the graveyard.
- 2xBuried Alive will be the secondary tutor to place cards from library into the graveyard.
- 4xUnearth will be main tutor to place cards from the graveyard into the battlefield.
- 2xExhume will be the secondary tutor to place cards from the graveyard into the battlefield.
- 1xSheoldred, Whispering One will be an additional way of tutoring cards from the graveyard into the battlefield.
- 1xGriselbrand will be the hand build accelerator of this deck.
This will be the main structure of this deck from now on, and even though that a lot of things may still be changed in the future I think the deck right now became more powerful and more fun to play with.

Had a great day of playing this deck, realized that it can actually kick ass in 4 player, so long as nobody runs removal. Making a couple of adjustments.
Out: Stranglehold, although good against certain decks, doesn't need to be in mainboard. Switching out to the sideboard.
In: Enlightened Tutor, lets me get Fervor or Lightning Greaves.
Also acquired a real copy of Avacyn so that's a thing.
