8.7 2-1

1st round against Academy combo pile 2-0. 1st game, Step 1 Cast discard Step 2 Cast Tarmogoyf Step 3 Use disruption and attack witg Goyf Step 4 Profit. 2nd game I attacked with my Hilded Goose and used ninjutsu to steal some of my opponents cards and I was so happy when I saw his academy to go exile.

2nd Round against Mono Black Aggro (2-0) 1st game I used toxic deluge to get 1 to 4 and won with basicly that. 2nd game I stalled till I had mana for my bigger threaths and game was officially over.

3rd round against Izzet tempo (1-2). 1st game sad price of progress happened. 2nd game I again sticked 1 threath and protected it because I am the tempo deck now. 3rd sad blood moon + magus of the moon happened while I was struggling with my bad choises.

28.6 4-0 1st round against Big Red (2-1). 1st game my opponent started by only ramped while I developed my board while fearing red sweep effect and with help of Tireless Tracker I killed him while drawing gas. 2nd game I used same strategy but this time my opponent had Anger of the Gods and I simply lost after that. 3rd game my opponent mulliganed to 4 so yaehhh there wasn't really game.

2nd round against Abzan Academy rector. 1st game I tried to grind my opponents removal out so I could play Scavenging Ooze but he top decked a stop and combo killed me. 2nd game I slammed tarmogoyf and beated my opponent while countering 4 spells in a row. 3rd game I mana deniad my opponent by using wasteland and destroying his mana dorks so the whole grindy game he had only 1 green and he couldn't combo or race me in time. Note to my self: Fiend Artisan is one fucking scary card

3rd game against Academy Eggs (2-0). 1st game I just played turn 2 tarmogoyf turn 3 Eternal Witness and turn 4 ninjutsu shinobi and he died before he could do anything usefull. 2nd game was basicly same thing except I used hand attack and counter spells aka interaction.

4th game against Jund lands (2-0). 1st game I was almost sure that I would lose because my opponent got so fast mana advantage with Lotus Cobra + Ramunap Excavator while having a fetch land but for my surprise biggest threat was huntmaster and his wolf buddy and I managed to recover with leovold and scavenging ooze and won from there. 2nd game I had fast Oko and Uro and my opponent scooped.

3.15 3-1

1st round against UB Control with Thassa's Oracle (2-1). 1st game I lost on turn 6 to Jace, Wielder of Mysteries + Demonic Consultation. 2nd game we grinded but because Oko is pretty ok I managed to win. 3rd game my opponent used mana drain to my balefull strix to get mana to turn 3 Cryptic Command bouncing my manland and trying to get tempo but in the end I baited counterspells until I got to resolve Nissa, Voice of Zendikar and start pumping my board and on extra turn 1 I drew Green Sun's and tutored Questing Beast to do exact lethal because it has too much text.

2nd round against Abzan Rector (2-1). 1st game I used Wasteland, Thoughtseize and Hymn to Tourach to my opponent but he top decked Gradle (after the wasteland) Academy Rector and Sacrifice outlet (after hand disruption) and all this in 1 turn and I lost. 2nd game my opponent mulliganed to 5 and couldn't compete in value grind. 3rd game my opponent mulliganed to 5 but I mulliganed to 4......... and I still won because I kept Thoughtseize, Fatal Push and 2 lands that disrupted my opponent enough and I peeled land, plague engineer (naming humans), Liliana the last hope and DRS from my deck and my opponent just drew 1-2 toughness humans and lost.

3rd round against GR Mid Range (2-0). 1st game I had amazing Hymn that took out my opponents 2 biggest threats and because of that he couldn't get through my Tarmogoyf so I got enough time to out value him with my creatures. 2nd game my opponent scooped to turn 2 Oko that he couldn't answer.

4th game agains GR Hoof Pile (0-2) 1st game I starved and died (when 1 land and can trips aren't enough). 2nd game I almost out grinded my opponent but he top decked Tooth and Nail got Hoof and smalle hoof, attacked and killed me.

I have a similar BUG (Sultai) Gerlander deck, but with fewer creatures and slightly "slower" gameplan. Which cards would you add from the Maybeboard, and which ones would you cut based on your experiences in playing with Sultai?

If I were you, I'd add Treasure Cruise and Narset, Parter of Veils into your deck, because both give nice card advantage. Maybe even consider Birds of Paradise to help speed up the early game vs. fast decks.

Hi Kumaisteri

About those of your suggestions. I have been testing Narset, Parter of Veils by cutting Coercive Portal and she has been amazing and is here to stay but I don't know what is right to cut. I have also been testing Treasure Cruise by cutting Tasigur, the Golden Fang because Karakas has been showing its head.

And now to your maybeboard.

Otherwise your deck seems solid more controlling sultai that will win games.

I hope that I answered your question well enough. Also remember that these are just suggestions and not absolute do things and some cards may be better in different meta games.
