A Black/white commander deck idea that relies on shadowborn apostle for two possible win conditions. If shadowborn apostle is left on the battlefield long enough to get 6 of them to be cast, it summons a demon, most likely apocalypse demon or harvester of souls. If instead the opponent attempts to kill them, or you sacrifice them, they count towards threshold, which many cards in this deck use. This is still in its idea phase, and I am relatively a beginner at the game, so any suggestions would help.

Kambal was chosen over Athreos for a few reasons. Because threshold is a big gimmick of this set, as well as apocalypse Demon, having creatures in the graveyard is a good idea, and Athreos actually inhibits that strategy, while Kambal does not affect it. Kambal also would allow for better longevity, especially against decks that heavily utilize sorceries, artifacts, and instants, which can often hurt these kinds of decks from what I've seen. Kambal may also allow better survival during the instance of a mana flood, especially during the opening hand, as he allows health to be gained if the enemy attempts to set up during this long enough for the flood to end, as Kambal can not only gain health but also defend by being a creature while Athreos cannot do anything as he needs 7 devotion to actually be a creature. It also helps that Kambal costs less than a dollar while Athreos costs about $25 (Scryfall: May 15, 2019). Please tell me if my reasoning is incorrect, as im still relatively new to mtg.
