A mix of food, affinity and delirium but without Asmo or Troll King. Hear me out: Cook book is great with affinity stuff (and by affinity I just mean Thought Monitor). Both affinity and saga want lots of artifacts in play.
Card choices:
Sylvan Scrying
: Urza's Saga is so good, why not just tutor it?
Traverse the Ulvenwald
: Saga land + artifact creatures allows for sneaky delirium. Traverse for Wonder, Daredevil, Titan, Thought Monitor or even Urza Saga.
Chromatic Star
and
Servo Schematic
: Good with Titan and affinity count.
0 drops +
Springleaf Drum
: allow for most busted draws. Like t1 urza's saga, springleaf, memnite, book, make food, t2 make food and construct or Thought Monitor.
Salvage Titan
: I'm not saying it's better than Troll King, but it's an artifact and I really like that you can get it back at instant speed. And with wonder it's more than enough. Also Troll King only cares about food, with Titan you can do sheganigans with stars and Schematic.
Wonder
/
Thud
: Deck has no interaction, attempts to finish games quickly with giant constructs + Wonder or Thud. Scrying finds Saga, Traverse finds a missing piece. Thought Monitor is usually a turn 3-4 play but it's possible to t2 Monitor / Thoughtcast to dig deeper and refuel.
Sideboard is more like transformative ideas. I like the surprise factor of siding Rampage of the Clans (very strong with fabricant / fae offering btw). Neoform was in the initial build with Salamander and I liked the option of going turn 2-3 Titan / Monitor, then neoform for 7/8 drop, but it's obviously atrocious vs Force of Negation.
Edit: Thud might be unecessary, or maybe just a 1 of. It just feels like the worst card early, I often wish it was a land or anything. And maybe I can get away with 3x Traverse, 1 Wonder, 1 Daredevil and 1 more Thoughtcast for velocity? Idk.
Edit2: I'm considering Village Rites over Thoughtcast to enable delirium more easily.
