Sideboard

Maybeboard

I think I kinda cooked here. This is like version 5 of this deck idea, and I think it kinda works as a janky midrange deck. The idea behind this deck is basically: since gates are a pretty slow mechanic that has little/weak payoffs, and parties are kinda janky and have too many colours to really work, what if we combine the two to make a midrange deck that is fine with playing a turn behind the curve, but in turn is able to pretty consistently get the colours of mana that the party needs? And I worked from there.

The wincon of this deck is basically: play party creatures and gates until a Gate Colossus or Zagras, Thief of Heartbeats is cheap enough to cast early in the curve; along the way playing on curve to make full use of the limited amount of mana we will have.

I am still tinkering here, as the deck has some glaring weaknesses - besides being glacially slow - as well as figuring out the sideboard.

I am really just wondering if this would be somewhat viable, even in just a casual fnm pioneer setting, cause that would be neat.
