First of all, this is not modern. You do not need to buy any aethervials, since we do not have to play our spirits. You do not need to buy caverns of souls, since this deck only runs one color. The only reason we play this Kamigawa draft chaff is because Iname wants us to. The goal of this deck is to get some mana, using ramp and rituals, and then play our spiritual lord to put most of our deck into our graveyard and win from there.

How to get there Show

On the first turns of the game you will be doing three things:

• Disrupt your opponent using discard spells

• Tutor for rituals to get enough mana for Iname

• Play ramp spells that give you more mana

What to do when you get there Show

When we have enough mana to cast Iname, we do not want to straight up cast her, as we will we be vulnerable to graveyard hate until we play our win condition.

1. Play Songs of the Dammed.

2. With your 38 Black mana, you can play Living Death and Mogis Marauder. If you do not have these pieces in your hand yet you can tutor for Behold the Beyond and use that to tutor for these pieces.

3. Attack your opponent for lethal with your spirits!

Playing tips Show

The best targets for your tutors are:

• Mana Crypt for a longer game

• Mana Vault for short-term mana

• Rain of Filth for short-term mana in the late game

• thought seize for a catch-all disruption spell

• Mind Twist if you have some mana but not enough to execute the combo

If you do not have enought mana or tutors to win in one turn, you can just play Iname, bin the spirits and tutor for grave strength and attack for lethal commander damage!
