Hello,

If your looking for input and/or Suggestions you need to help us out and give and ideal what your looking for. Raffine, Scheming Seer is a great open ended commander that it's hard to help out w/out know the direction you aiming for. That said, what I found/find out with my deck and no matter how you play him you want to be attacking every turn, this tends to leave you open on the back swing so War Tax cards like Propaganda and Ghostly Prison or flip side play things like Heliod, God of the Sun and Odric, Lunarch Marshal (+ Vigilance toon out). Long story short your deck looks weak to the crack back.

Another thing I find is the Wonder is < Filth + Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth
. Most of your team is sporting fly as is.

As for real suggestions how do you want to take him? +1/+1 you could play cards like Tenured Inkcaster or Oona's Blackguard
Reanimator Unburial Rites or Vohar, Vodalian Desecrator
Discard Bone Miser or Faith of the Devoted
wheel Queza, Augur of Agonies or Feast of Sanity

anyway, cheers and GL

Salutations, multimedia! So sorry for getting back to this so late, but thank you very much for this well thought-out and highly informative feedback on my deck! :D

Right off the bat, this is gonna be difficult if I'm more familiar with MTG Arena and need to explain anything. So I apologize in advance seeming long-winded at times! ;^w^

Regarding 1x and 2x vs. 4x, lots of the Rare and Mythic cards require Wildcard tokens to spend on cards to get multiple copies of, and I only have a select few of those tokens whilst owning a crap-ton of Common and Uncommon Wildcard tokens (but if there's one thing we all learn in TCGs, unless you're rich, you won't win with bottom-of-barrel stuff. .< And well, being a guy who can't afford anything anyway (unless I'm fortunate every other month to afford an online Mastery Pass [which basically means I get more rewards the more I play online], I'm used to being poor. ;u.u).

Hey, personally, I wouldn't even mind high budget either or even medium budget. Just anything to give me an idea what it'll take to have me never suck at the game again. 'Course that's too much to ask considering this game is always constantly changing, especially for Standard. Not that that's a bad thing mind you, it's just hard to keep up all the time.

Tribe? Reason? I never really go for any reason other than going with archetypes and sets that are cool in art and effect. Lame, I know, but I don't care. X3 lol I just wanna have fun! And a good way to have fun in this game is to win a lot from understanding everything. I understand how effects are played, yet it's always against me 90% of the time, and I get so easily discouraged and frustrated no matter what deck I put together. :( But as far as reasons for playing Vampires... I guess I wanna gain life like how they do so by sucking blood and swarm the field? 'Cause, y'know, bats? lol Even with wuffs/werewuffs, wanna play them 'cause they're cute and badass. lol

With that said, yes, I'd like to believe Edgar's pretty darn decent even if I can't have more than one of him on the battlefield (learned that the hard way one time with another deck). And well, I have that Instant in there just in case I come across any card that I need to take down even if I gotta lose a creature through battle along the way even if that deck I'm up against isn't an aggro deck (I assume aggros have 1-2 toughness each time???). But okay then, so sideboard only for Vengeance? Huh... Thought it'd be praised.

See, I didn't see Socialite as useful. O.o If I wanted a Vampire dealing with counters, I'd rely on Edgar or perhaps Tenured Inkcaster or evenSlaughter Specialist. Besides, I thought Uncommons would be like Commons and let me down, especially if there are four of them. o: And here's the thing: Socialite gives those counters out if I made the opponent lose life. What if that didn't happen? What if it doesn't happen for the whole game? A waste. >.< Harvester makes sense kinda, I just never figured putting four in would be better. O.o

Four of Florian? Again, what if I'm not able to discard him? D:

Again, I never know the different between any Vampire factions/families and stuff. They're all the same to me. TwT lol And as for Bloodcaster, she's got, like the worst toughness. I need to protect her somehow. D: Four of them having the same 1 toughness would be difficult to maintain, especially if the opponent is all Reach. Plus as much as Pit Fighter would be brutally beneficial to wanna get more cards in the hand, she's still just as frail as Bloodcaster. >.< You sure that's safe?

Okay, so from what I understand, don't have Vamp Tribe and Vamp Support in the same deck? How come? I thought it'd be more beneficial that way??? Okay, that first creature I can kinda understand having more of, especially if I have a lot of other Vamps with 1-2 power! And my only defense for Scavenger and why I love her is not only does she have a helpful lifelink in a pinch, but when combined with Odric, Blood-Cursed, you get a slew of Blood Tokens at once which is extremely grateful to have come to fruition, especially if I have other Vamps with different mechanics on them!

Edgar after that other reasoning with splash lands... Okay, that makes sense.

Dispute won't work for me going into the next season after this month sadly; the set it's from will be put to Historic then and therefore unusable in Standard. Absence I was fortunately well on top of, but are you sure Grasp would be good, too? I mean, I lose life as a result. And if I can't gain life with my Vampires, then what? o:

Courtyard, eh? Okay, well... I'll see what I can do then as far as those lands.

Still, I'm a little concerned with these choices overall. Do I go for tribe or support? And how will I know they'll give me a better win rate than what I'm enduring now? ;w; For the record, I'm not looking to be a Spike or anything, I'm more of a Timmy-Mel mix; not aiming to be a pro, but I'm tired of losing and wanna win enough each set to at least get base Platinum rewards. X3 lol

Thank you so much for getting back to me as far as my Vampire deck, multimedia! I'd very much love your help on the other decks I've got on my profile if it's at all possible, please! >w<

I like Tenured Inkcaster but the only form of +1/+1 I have is off Archangel of Thune.

Revenge of Ravens I'll find a spot for.

I agree with you on Sol Ring but one of my playgroup like to put a play set in every deck.... this is one of 2 standard casual decks I run that have them in just for the high CMC of my curve.

I've looked into this and I really like the path of +1/+1 counters. There are of course plenty of ways to get counters on your creatures in this deck (primarily Willowdusk), so capitalizing off of that with effects that bolster any creatures with counters or give them trample it pretty darn powerful.

First off, the trample givers: Bramblewood Paragon, Gnarlid Colony, Pridemalkin, and Crowned Ceratok.

And some other +1/+1 tribal engines: Mer-Ek Nightblade, Oona's Blackguard, Skyclave Shadowcat, and Tenured Inkcaster who, in particular, is very good in this deck.

And some support for the counters: Armorcraft Judge, Gladehart Cavalry, and Inspiring Call.

On a different note, giving your creatures lifelink in this deck is insane. Swing with something big to permanently double it's P/T with Willowdusk. Some good cards for that are: Alchemist's Gift, Essence Infusion, Rush of Vitality, Sorin, Imperious Bloodlord, Poet's Quill, and especially Whip of Erebos. Essence Harvest is also in the same vein.

Lastly, one nasty thing you could do would be untapping Willowdusk to use her ability twice in a turn for exponential gains. Ideally, this would be done with cards like: Magewright's Stone, Puppet Strings, Quirion Ranger, Seeker of Skybreak, and Thousand-Year Elixir.

I also want to quickly touch on the other side of Willowdusk's ability with Aetherflux Reservoir Which would let you instakill an opponent then give one of your creatures +50/+50.

As for what to remove, there are quite a few cards I feel are pretty unsynergistic here like Dragonsguard Elite and Witherbloom Pledgemage as this isn't really a spellslinger deck. I also dont see the point of reclamation effects like Deadly Brew, Retrieve, Healing Technique, Dollhouse of Horrors, The Underworld Cookbook, or You Happen on a Glade. Lastly, Roil Spout just isn't legal (probably an error lol).

KBK7101- Thanks for the suggestion. I actually already have Mentor of the Meek in the deck but Tenured Inkcaster looks great! The strength of this deck I have found is that you always have card draw with Breena, the Demagogue in multiplayer.

Tenured Inkcaster from Strixhaven might be worth a look. You might also want some more card draw from Mentor of the Meek or Idol of Oblivion or something like that. Looks pretty good overall, though!

Daemogoth Titan + Tend the Pests is an excellent combo that can give you a bunch of pests that work well with Plumb the Forbidden , drawing 11 cards while only losing 1 life.

Professor of Zoomancy and Lampad of Death's Vigil can most likely be taken out since they are on the weaker side of cards from this set plus there are better ways to use those sacrificial pests.

Tenured Inkcaster really only synergizes with Blood Researcher as those are your only +1/+1 counter sources.

I'd say take out those cards mentioned above and inserting more removal spells or the like to trigger Sedgemoor Witch and Witherbloom Apprentice . Affecting the opponent's board will help you reach that W.

Nice deck nonetheless!
