Hunted Bonebrute

Creature — Skeleton Beast

Menace

When Hunted Bonebrute enters the battlefield, target opponent creates two 1/1 white Dog creature tokens.

When Hunted Bonebrute dies, each opponent loses 3 life.

Disguise (You may cast this card face down for as a 2/2 creature with ward . Turn it face up at any time for its disguise cost. While face down, whenever it becomes the target of a spell or ability an opponent controls, counter it unless that player pays .)

Spitballing, feel free to ignore me:

Vona's Hunger can be cast on another player's turn after a creature has already died. While blessed it can kill four on its own (Soul Shatter is also a thing, as is Make an Example)

Crowded Crypt fodder later on, mana value might be awkward

Gifted fodder: Tribute to Horobi  Flip, Slaughter Specialist, Curse of Disturbance, Forbidden Orchard, Hunted Bonebrute, Dowsing Dagger  Flip (one-winged can fly!)

(Nice curve btw)

Heyo, i love this deck as i have been brewing around this style of deck for a while. I am specifically trying to make a vampire tribal version of this deck as i found some fun combos and vampires that work well with this strategy. Here are my suggestions

first: if you are gonna kill the tokens off, Blood Artist and Slaughter Specialist are some cards you should think about, they work well and offer other ways for this deck to win.

second: Illness in the Ranks is a good way to remove all the tokens, Toxic Deluge would be helpful as well as it would be another way for you to do a mass board wipe other than.

third: some fun cards you can add i would recommend would be Hunted Bonebrute, and Hunted Horror. they are not the best cards as bonebrute can be easily killed by a Lightning Bolt and hunted horror might give the opponent too much value, but they should be considered as well.

some other fun cards to consider are Massacre Girl, Known Killer and Massacre Wurmfoil. massacre girl just gives you automatic value with draw cards, while massacre wurm can be another wincon. they might be a bit too slow though.

eitherway, great deck. i wish you luck with it!

OUT: Cultivator Colossus, Selvala, Heart of the Wilds, Fyndhorn Elves, Elves of Deep Shadow, Vampiric Tutor, Not Dead After All, Bala Ged Recovery  Flip, Demonic Tutor, Lightning Greaves, Greater Good

IN: Zopandrel, Hunger Dominus, Shakedown Heavy, Hunted Bonebrute, Tear Asunder, Nature's Claim, Culling Ritual, Nature's Lore, Arcane Signet, Unnatural Growth, Underground Mortuary

Trying to work out some kinks in this deck. I find myself without big boys to sac to the 'Rog sometimes. Also, upping the land count a little instead of using dorks that will die to Culling Ritual.

I may also come to regret pulling out the tutors, but I never know what to look for that will help me win immediately, so out they come for now.

Main goal of this deck is to burn opponent's life quickly by flinging Hunted Bonebrute with Callous Sell-Sword. It will often do 9 damage to the dome. Doing so twice should kill opponent, as doing 2 chip damage with either Kumano Faces Kakkazan  Flip, creatures, or burn spells. Unfortunately Callous Sell-Sword is not very good in the vacuum, that's why we are playing Pyrotechnic Performer, flipping it and Bonebrute will also end us with 9 damage in addition to 9 power on the board. The drawback is of course tempo, as playing 2 disguise creatures requires a lot of mana. Although disguised creatures are rather well protected against common single-target removals, cards like Path of Peril can really mess with our board, that's why we are playing Deep-Cavern Bat and Duress in the sideboard. We are also playing package of cards that should help us digging to the combo - Bloodtithe Harvester, Charming Scoundrel, and Inti, Seneschal of the Sun.

I want to like Hunted Bonebrute, but I feel it's going to die as soon as it gets blocked. +1/+1 counters helps though.

A bit more "out there", but Cauldron of Souls lets you bring back enemy creatures when a board wipe happens so that you can kill them again. (Proliferate helps.) Obviously helps you save your own stuff too.
