I would recommend Drover of the Mighty over Merfolk Branchwalker, and maybe find a way to include Thrashing Brontodon. A T4 Ghalta, Primal Hunger is very easy with this set up. I would also recommend Nature's Way over Ancient Animus since it can give trample to things like Gigantosaurus or Steel Leaf Champion. Even Savage Stomp might work better, as you have enough space for dinos that it would easily come down for just G.

Very true, though after doing a little testing, Ancient Animus seems to be that card that I would either put into sideboard or not put in at all. I was thinking that placing three of Nature's Way into sideboard instead would be wise and worth a shot, and into a mainboard we can put Territorial Allosaurus making this deck a little more creature intensive. Let me know what you think about that, since my way of thinking is that Rhonas the Indomitable and Rhonas's Monument is enough of trample.

For the other remarks, I have 3 Thrashing Brontodon in the sideboard, I might be able to move them mainboard, but that would mean they would take a spot of Steel Leaf Champion (which is very bad) or Rhonas's Monument (which is more tolerable). I want to do more testing against current top decks to see how this turns out when its sideboarded.

I hate for some reason how Merfolk Branchwalker comes out in this deck. I am afraid to put Drover of the Mighty since if it is put in the mainboard I will have it constantly out on turn 2 and, thus, if opponent goes first (and most probably plays red) will land Goblin Chainwhirler and wipe my Drover of the Mighty. It is not that sad if they wipe my Llanowar Elves since I will have my Steel Leaf Champion on turn two before the Red Beast can come in. Yet I need replacement for Merfolk Branchwalker and since I dropped 3 Ancient Animus and put in only 2 Territorial Allosaurus, I will 4 spots open in the 2 drop spot.

Either way I will post my updates now and I will be grateful to hear your feedback.

Best, A.

For the two drop you may want to consider Elfhame Druid as it still serves to ramp green for you, and can help with the kicker of Territorial Allosaurus. I would suggest making some room for Ripjaw Raptor somewhere (even if its just in the SB to swap out Allosaurus) because this deck will let you drop him early, he is a big blocker against agro, and can give you cards quickly. Territorial Allosaurus can be good but I often find people hold it in hand to try and kick it, and that leads to slowing yourself down and falling behind

Good Point! And point taken. Already updated. Thanks. Any further suggestions are welcome. That Aggressive Mammoth has resolved all my issues with trample.

June 16, 2018 5:26 p.m.

Even with your ramp, I would still consider running 24 lands. Also replace Aggressive Mammoth with Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma. It’ll help with your mana curve and does the same thing giving trample

Thanks for the suggestion. I did see Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma, just didn't have a chance to update the deck. It is certainly a MUCH better choice. Also considering your advice on upping lands. Not ready to do 24 with this deck just YET, but I will test 23. Thanks again.

Instead of Drover of the Mighty you could do Druid of the Cowl that 3 toughness is really good at that slot. I would do Vine Mare over Ripjaw Raptor hexproof is too good to over look and against black decks you just run straight through them. I think I like Vivien Reid over Nissa, Vital Force that -3 just hoses Lyra Dawnbringer

Thanks a lot for feedback. I do have 2 Druid of the Cowl in main. Vine Mare is a very good card so I will consider that. Also the second Vivien Reid is in Sideboard.

Thanks again.

Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma ton of big creatures you have you can drop their cost by 2 and attack bonus .

Pelakka Wurm i know its less as a 7/7 BUT it has trample, life gain and drawing.

if your splashing white might as well throw in Ajani, Adversary of Tyrants

I agree with the first two. Already updated them in. Had to take out Gigantosaurus since he doesn't feed off Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma effect. As for Ajani, Adversary of Tyrants, it's too many cons for me not to put it in. One is that it's double white which is hard to pull off since I am only splashing white. Two is that it's only usable effect is a +1 and me spending 4 mana on a card to get effect inferior to that of Oath of Ajani; you are going to say it's every turn, but he is probably gonna get removed next turn. As for the -2 ability, it's pointless, since only creatures with mana cost 2 or less are my mana dorks, and if I am able to spend two on him and have total 4 mana (probably more) why would I need to bring back Llanowar Elves. Last ability is sweet, but not for this deck since by the time I can trigger it I would have an army of large creatures.

Thanks for the suggestion and let me know if I missed something in my criticism.

i agree actually with what your saying. you do have enough dual lands for a possible splash but i wouldnt depend on it for your closer like you said you can have better creatures/ plainswalkers . the one other thing that i would possibly consider changing is Lifecrafter's Bestiary with Runic Armasaur its an early game blocker , its ability gets you the draw and it dosent slow you down on casting the beefy creatures. im looking arround at other sets as well and i came across Champion of Rhonas could help getting more creatures out. these are just ideas, i love the concept by the way! i have something similar but R/G.

Yeah I have tried out Champion of Rhonas and it slows down the deck significantly. As for Runic Armasaur, it is highly situational since not all decks will be activating abilities (like W/U control), Lifecrafter's Bestiary on the other hand is MUCH more consistent. After rotation it will be a definite change though. Thanks for the valuable input.

This deck is cool. Is Thorn Lieutenant an option here? Also not sure if this deck is wide enough to take advantage Huatli, Radiant Champion?

Im curious as to why Inferno Hellion is in here, it feels a little out of place, maybe im missing some synergy? Could you please explain its inclusion? I'd love to know why!

And im iffy with Llanowar Elves, why not run Drover of the Mighty? What about Regisaur Alpha for the sweet, sweet haste?

Heres my Naya list, if we wanted to compare notes! I'd love to hear your thoughts on my build.

Inferno Hellion is 7 power for only 4 mana and has trample. 7 power triggers board wipe for 4 damage to everything if Sarkhan's Unsealing is on the field. Regisaur Alpha is too clumsy as it triggers only 4 dmg to target on unsealing and the token doesn't at all. Llanowar Elves is there to speed up the ramp on turn one. Thunderherd Migration is a much better 2 drop than Drover of the Mighty since it brings out a land and liquidifies the deck securing me more creature draws and putting me 1 land ahead of opponent.

Hey, I was just wondering how well this deck is doing?

This deck performs well against most competitive decks. Currently doing more testing against Boros Angels and Mono Red.

Why splash white? The benefits seem not to outweigh the inconsistency. Also, how does this fare against aggro? I can imagine this getting overrun by a wide board extremely easily unless you have unsealing online, which probably takes until turn 4 to sweep at the earliest. I really like the deck though!

White is a necessity for the cases you just discussed, mostly for Sideboard. Justice Strike deals great with threats like Lyra Dawnbringer and most aggro cards, since it lands on turn 2 or 3. White does not make this deck inconsistent at all since it is only duals and one Plains that supply the white. As for the going wide match up, once again, white to Sideboard Deafening Clarion to clear the board. Thinking to put another one in Sideboard. It lands on turn 2 or if I am in tough mana position on turn 3 or 4. Test it out, the mana fetching and with both Commune with Dinosaurs and Thunderherd Migration solves all the lands issues. Thanks for feedback.

Is there a reason why you don't have Steel Leaf Champion or Ripjaw Raptor? Both seem very good in the deck. I have a straight G/R Version at Goreclaw's Unsealing!. Just out of curiosity, how good has Risk Factor been? Seems like just playing a creature or straight up burn spell would be better
