What do you think about also having a bunch of masks. There are many to choose from.

I remember that Link used a ton of other masks in the game.

I actually did think about that but had decided if I was going to use more than MM, I'd need 25 masks total and there aren't enough for that.

I think there are enough masks (I believe that search gave 26 results), especially if you include things like General's Kabuto and Jester's Cap that have a maskish nature even though they don't have the word "mask" in their name. However, I don't like the task of matching all those masks to masks from the game.

I do think that there probably aren't enough deck slots for all 25 masks, though. I also suspect that what you would end up with then is more of a voltron build that would be more from Link's perspective instead of an alternate win condition that is more from the skull kid's perspective.

Did you think about cards that end/skip phases / turns like Time Stop , Fatespinner , and Sundial of the Infinite ? Maybe this again is more from the hero's perspective than from the skull kid's perspective, though ...

I was looking for suggestions like those actually. I'm in need of end/skip phases/ turns cards and wipes as well, just to add the 3 day countdown into the mix. While that part may be more from link's perspective, so is the flute I'm using as the ocarina. It would fit the theme of the deck nicely though

I just found Wheel of Sun and Moon and think that would be amazing in this deck. It's the clock tower. Would also keep my stuff in my library.

Terminus , Cyclonic Rift (sort of), and Devastation Tide are all possible "reset" cards.

Wrath of God , Damnation , Divine Reckoning (preserving Link or skull kid?), Jokulhaups (and there are many others to choose from) are all possible wipers. I wouldn't use all the board wipes available, though because there's a ton.

Another thing to consider is Magus of the Disk - it has the idea with it that someone is triggering the board wipe.

There are others like Nevinyrral's Disk and Oblivion Stone (again preserving some select "players").

The clock tower could also be the Clock of Omens or the Unwinding Clock .

I keep on forgetting things. Anyway, some more "put the game on a clock" cards are Celestial Convergence and Divine Intervention .

Time Warp , Time Stretch , Temporal Mastery for time manipulation, as well as Paradox Haze .

Paradox haze would be great depending on what my four giants are

Also, is lady of the Mountain a representation of the first boss or of Snowhead?

For Link, which level up guy do you like? I like Transcendent Master . It has lifelink.

What can be used for faeries? There were a couple in this version, no? What about Pestermite and Vendilion Clique ? I know there are lots to choose from.

First boss. Giant lady. First/best one I could find.

I think Figure of Destiny actually fits slightly more for link because of name really. but I like that Lifelink there. I'll toss the ideas around. Also, Which of the different Giant options do you guys think is best. There are so many different options depending on the four gianst

Titans, because Prime Time it's already banned so you don't have to worry about choosing which to drop. Plus they're all strong stand-alone creatures, so you could conceivably win with them.

You should request a house rule that whenever they kill Zodiac Rooster you can put 5 copies into play.

Linkdude74 says... #20

That is a much better house rule man. That would be so much fun. And I was Thinking the Nephilim would work well too just because of the Ink-Treader Nephilim So much fun stuff with that. but the titans are pretty BA

There are tons of boardwipes to choose from, including Damnation , Wrath of God , Planar Cleansing , Day of Judgment , Supreme Verdict , Elspeth Tirel , and Elspeth, Sun's Champion just off the top of my head.

You could also go for some nonbasic lands for the temples. Maybe Forbidden Orchard for the first temple?
