Now that target graveyard hate can be main decked in standard I decided to retire zombies and man did it have a great run, multiple top FNM performances and a 2nd place PPTQ finish. It's time for a new leaf and it's grixis control. Kefnet the Mindful is a one of as a card engine who occasionally animates. Hazoret the Fervent is more likely to animate however still a one of. His discard ability allows us to have a repeatable source of reach on an indestructible card. Hazoret also works well with Drake Haven and Faith of the Devoted.

monday night Standard 5/1/17 — May 2, 2017

The Deck's first outing. General observations: not sold on soul-scar as i boarded it out every game but never saw it either, Reduce to rubble is perfect for the deck as i can slow the game down to a pace I'm cool with. overall the deck feels extremely well positioned in a creature based standard like we currently have.

Match 1: B/W zombies 2-0: killed all of his non recursive dorks and glorybringer won the match along with planeswalkers. He stumbled on mana game 2 while i curved lili into chandra into glorybringer.

Match 2: G/B delerium 0-2: started off super strong before flooding out both games. we played for fun after and I completely stomped. Reduce to rubble really shined in this match up.

Match 3: 2-0 vs B/w Midrange: looked like a mardu vehicles deck without red in favor of more removal and disruption. This match up was won with the curse in game one after answering a bunch of threats and glory bringer+chandra in game 2
