A modern blue black mill.
Slowly piecing this deck together. I am keeping track here of the deck as it stands currently with the cards I own. I will keep adjusting this as I pick up more cards and adjust things. I will be moving toward 4 Archive Traps, 4 Visions of Beyond, and hopefully 4 Glimpse the Unthinkable, taking out Tome Scours, Wights, and the Thought Scours.
I am debating Mesmeric Orb vs. Sphinx's Tutelage, but am spending time studying different Mills and understanding the varying approaches and philosophies behind the deck lists and styles. The more I learn, the more I adjust.
The sideboard (not what I currently have) will be important of course. Locally, a lot of creatures as well as some of the top played decks, so will keep talking with my LGS folks. I think the owner of the shop said that I would only see Emrakul from maybe two players in his room.
Lands: that's gonna be pricey. Give it time.
Nowhere ready to play Tuesday and Thursday nights yet (modern nights at our LGS), but I think it's heading the right direction.
Still wide open for critique and ideas. Especially theory and philosophy. For me to understand why a card is played and when is more important than just getting a card because that's what you need to do.
