Since you're going to be getting it back after each mill kill, Fraying Sanity seems perfect to cut the work in half. Double points for making it easier to mill yourself out for a Maniac win. Wayward Swordtooth May not have the draw of Gitrog, but its another good ramper. Lastly, you will want to consider a few grave shufflers to avoid gravehate. I did a quick search and found Elixir of Immortality , Quest for Ancient Secrets , Feldon's Cane and Thran Foundry . The first 2 are repeatable, but the artifacts may be worth including too since anyone thaat knows how your deck works will prioritize getting rid of these.
I hope this helps as I intend to build Muldrotha as one of my PEtitioner commanders once I'm done with Okaun and Zndrsplt. Petitioners are just so fun to build around that it seems like a shame to relegate them to only 1 deck.

Graveyard hate, eh? Burn Away do anything for you? if not, I recommend Mudhole for lands, Cranial Archive for card draw, Phyrexian Furnace is cheap but slow, Thran Foundry, and Watchers of the Dead seem like good choices to sub in. as for cuts, if you feel Vicious Shadows over preforms, then leave it in, but I just don't see how. It's trigger can be mitigated by having a low hand count. Shefet Monitor also could be cut.
All in all, I love your deck, commander needs more beat-down decks like this one rather than the tier 1 combo-crud that's been hitting my meta recently.

I'm surprised you didn't put in the Moltensteel Dragon + Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon Combo. Its an instant win. You could also put in Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind + Curiosity for another instakill combo!Also Living Death Is a great card because you will have so many dragons in your graveyard from scions ability, why not bring them all back?Aggravated Assault + Savage Ventmaw would give you infinite attack phases. Personally I like to put a bunch of ramp in the deck because a 5 drop Rainbow commander can be tough to get out. (sorry for so many suggestions)I also feel Thran Foundry and Elixir of Immortality are good cards because you don't want your graveyard to just be a pile of dragons.

My play group is brutal and packs just about all of these cards.
If your play group lets you get away with it, consider yourself lucky.

Hey pandaviking. Dragon Mage is interesting. Ive tended to favour wheel effects that aren't reliant on attacking and getting damage through, as unlike Nekusar type decks, we don't directly benefit from the drawing, more the maintaining a high number of cards in opponents' hands and the disruption to people's strategies. At the minute I'm trying Runehorn Hellkite as a a wheel creature on top of Magus of the Wheel, mainly because we can trigger it in the graveyard.
Hey Daedalus19876! Would actually really appreciate your advice and expertise on it if you've got the time. Interested in fine tuning it and potentially reducing some of the high cost cards. Basically things in the $5 - $20 space that don't strictly improve or support the deck. I really like decks to be efficient and budget friendly, and any cards that aren't strictly necessary or could be used to fund new decks I'm really keen to cut.
At the minute I have Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre, Kozilek, Butcher of Truth and Blightsteel Colossus as high end bombs and finishers. The two Eldrazi serve the dual purpose of also having the 'shuffle your graveyard in' clause which works with our wheels and draw and means we're happy to discard them early on (Blightsteel shuffles itself in). The Eldrazi also offer the annihilator and removal to affect the board state. Blightsteel also combos with Chandra's Ignition for an instant wincon.
I've tried Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger in the past as well for the exile effect.
Wondering about downgrading the Eldrazi to something like Magmatic Force and Molten Primordial (open to suggestions). The shuffle your graveyard in could be achieved via Thran Foundry, Cranial Archive and something like Elixir of Immortality for a bit of additional artifact synergy.
Urabrask the Hidden is there to slow opponents and act as another haste granter, but may also be worth cutting if we lost the Eldrazi and actually don't need to swing with our creatures.
Stranglehold ensure a 'fair' game and shuts down tutors and some infinite combos, but may be a bit of a luxury. War's Toll seems to have had a more obvious impact on games, particularly because a lot of the impact tutoring seems to happen early game before we can get Stranglehold into play. Again open to other people's thoughts.
Thawing Glaciers works nicely with Valakut, but may be unnecessary.
I'm never completely sold on cards like Reiterate but that may be situational on not having it in hand at the right time.
Insurrection is a key mono winning card
I've tended to avoid land destruction, but have wondered about things like Blood Clock\Umbilicus which would allow us to keep replaying a mountain off Valakut and could combo with something like Keldon Firebombers.

Entrei I see where you're coming from with that. I've considered dropping the mill aspect of my deck, however, its not the main goal of the deck, so things like the old Eldrazi titans don't really mess with the game plan. Sure they'll gives people more options again, but if they're still taking damage from the card draw, then it doesn't matter too much. I do agree that Deathrender could probably come out (And it might have already. I'll have to check and update accordingly). I also have Thran Foundry in the deck in case I get close to being decked if something happens to my field that I need the possibility of getting it back

I'm just gonna make a few suggests that I would probably do. I'll explain my reasoning with what I see and if you disagree please say, I don't want to alter the idea of the deck too much!
Cards that I'd remove:
A few counter spells in place of the board wipe/pillow fort spells. Although your opponents will get more stuff on board you will be able to use mass removal for everyone rather than counter just one spell.
