The creatures of the Golgari Swarm fuels your rage, my Lich lord! Let us burn all those who oppose us!

Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord was a bounty hunter who worked extensively in the Undercity of Ravnica. His sister, Savra, Queen of the Golgari was the matka of the Devkarin Dissident, and unbeknownst to him, the servant of Szadek, Lord of Secrets, the parun of House Dimir. When her ambitions brought her to control Svogthir to upset the current guild balance, he found himself opposed to his twin. Allied with Agrus Kos, Wojek Veteran and Fonn Zunich, he was instrumental in upsetting Szadek, Lord of Secrets' coup at the decamillenial Festival of the Guildpact. After his sister's death in those events, he took control of the Golgari Swarm.
He briefly married Fonn Zunich and fathered a child named Myczil Savod Zunich, however their obligations to their respective guilds and differences in belief of how their child should be raised led to their separation. When Agrus Kos, Wojek Veteran died, he acted as one of the pallbearers at his friend's funeral.
He was ultimately killed by Lyzolda, the Blood Witch in a Rakdos ritual trying to rescue his child who had been kidnapped to fuel the ritual. Thanks to his intervention, Myc's life was saved, but Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord died shortly after. However, being versed in necromancy, though not as proficiently as his deceased sister, he managed to possess his own corpse. He remained the Golgari guildmaster.
In the period leading up to the War of the Spark, the Cilia, a council of Devkarin Dissident shamans and rogues, isolated Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord in a sparsely populated corner of the Undercity. Pleased with the planeswalker Vraska, Regal Gorgon's role in securing The Immortal Sun, Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker rewarded her with the information where Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord was to be found. As leader of the disenfranchised among the Golgari, she vowed to bring justice to Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord and replace him with a worthier guild leader, herself.

With the help of the troll Jarga, Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest and Xeddick, a white kraul, Vraska, Regal Gorgon found Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord in the Devkarin Golgari Rot Farms. While the Cilia elves tried to save Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord, the Erstwhile Storrev, Devkarin Lich betrayed him. After Xeddick had extracted all of Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord's dirty secrets from his mind, Vraska, Regal Gorgon petrified him.

This is my take on an old but classic Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord Reanimator EDH deck. I haven't made an EDH deck or any deck that deals with reanimating creatures from the graveyard yet, so this is my first crack at this..

I'm currently loving the Golgari color combination when it comes to the versatility of both black and green, that's why i stepped away from my previous Golgari EDH deck, Slimefoot, the Pun-gus, which while it's fun, I wanted to make a faster way to burnout my opponents using another Golgari commander.. And that's what lead me to the former guild leader of the Golgari Swarm, Jarad, the golgari lich lord!

The main strategy is to ramp on the first turns, then start to fill the graveyard with a bunch of creatures using dredge and self-milling mechanics, and reanimate them for cheap and smash face! After, we can use our commander to sacrifice those BIG creatures and drain each of our opponents life, when they least expect it.
Dawntreader Elk - Ramp that can be a blocker and a creature in the graveyard.
Deathcap Cultivator - Dual lands on a creature that can defend with deathtouch.
Sakura-Tribe Elder - Green Ramp Staple Creature, that can combo with Journey to Eternity   to get 3 lands.
Satyr Wayfinder - Ramp creature with self-milling.
Skull Prophet - Dual land on a creature that can dredge?! Sure!
Springbloom Druid - Harrow on a creature.
Tangled Florahedron   - A mana dork that can be used as lands and count as creatures on the graveyard.
Yavimaya Elder - Green Ramp Staple Creature which can also draw you a card.
Life from the Loam - Classic Dredge spell that can get your lands back from the yard.
Blighted Woodland & Myriad Landscape - Early land that can fetch other basics when needed.
Golgari Grave-Troll - Dredge on a creature, that can protect itself and get Big fast!
Mindwrack Harpy - Every turn mill 3? Plus mill other players too?! Great!
Nyx Weaver - Early game self-milling creature.
Priest of the Haunted Edge - Removal on a creature, that needs to be sacrificed. Which means, graveyard creatures!
Stinkweed Imp - Dredge creature that can block flyers and has deathtouch.
Stitcher's Supplier - Early game self-mill on a creature.
Underrealm Lich - A creature that can filter your draw and can protect itself too!
World Shaper - Great creature to attack with, that can recur all your lands in the yard.
Grapple with the Past, Grisly Salvage & Winding Way - Technically, a draw spell that can fuel your graveyard.
Buried Alive - Basically a tutor to get 3 creatures that you might need to reanimate at the right time.
Funeral Rites - Draw 2, Self-mill for 2 in exchange for 2 life? Value!
Jarad's Orders - Tutor for 2 cards, one creature to fuel your graveyard.
Life from the Loam - Best card in the deck! Can fill graveyard and can recur lands to prevent missed land drops!
Doomed Necromancer - A one time Tortured Existence on a creature, but can fuel the graveyard creatures
Eternal Witness - Classic green staple recursion creature.
Phyrexian Delver - Reanimate effect on a 3/2 creature
Animate Dead - One of the better reanimate spells that has a little downside and a lot oracle texts.
Tortured Existence - Filtering your creature selection while maintaining enough creatures on your graveyard.
Bala Ged Recovery   - A better Regrowth that can be a land when needed.
Life / Death - Reanimate effect for 1 more mana.
Living Death - How to make you the archenemy on the table.
Reanimate - Where the archetype Reanimator comes from.
Stitch Together - Your basic cheating of mana costs reanimation spells.
Nissa of Shadowed Boughs - A 4 mana recursion that has 2 +1/+1 counters
Buried Ruin - Artifact Recursion.
Bonehoard & Nighthowler - Transfer your "goyf" stats to your other creatures! 50/50 Wood Elves anyone? lol.
Carrion Grub - Possible 2nd Lord of Extinction or Mortivore with additional built-in dredge? hell yes!
Mortivore - Bigger creatures that can use opponents creatures in the graveyard too!
Lord of Extinction - Ahh! The lord of the "goyf"! Enough said..
Phyrexian Devourer - One of the best creature to win right out. Can be tutored as a last resort when playing casually.
Rune-Scarred Demon - Possible recur-able tutor on a Big creature
Ghoultree - Can be an early game 10/10 creature from milling 4-7 creatures by turn 3-5.
Splinterfright - Another "goyf" creature, but with built-in Trample and self-milling too!
Feldon's Cane - The most basic graveyard hate deterrent.
Perpetual Timepiece - Early game self-mill plus a deterrent against graveyard hate.
Tainted Strike - Infect combat trick!

This deck is still on it's first steps, and a lot of playtesting is still needed to adjust and perfect the deck as much as possible.. So any comments and suggestions, especially explanations on why those suggestions are better than cards.. Thanks!
