Cards I have been experimenting with so far have been Dead Man's Chest, Alpha Authority, Equilibrium, Energy Field, Hostage Taker, Tortured Existence, Infernal Darkness, Kederekt Leviathan, Dystopia, Mind Harness and Dystopia. Granted I love to play control based decks with lots of enchantments so I am a little biased.

Gloom is certainly one of the meanest cards in black, next to Dystopia. The only problem with colour hate is that you either need to be sure that at least one opponent will always play that colour, or that colour poses a very big threat to your overall strategy. In my green aggro deck and in my gitrog monster I play Choke because I have a bad time against too many counterspells and all that gain control of something crap. I wouldn't need anything against red or white there because it's not that bad for me to justify a slot for colour hate.

Black Knight is a cheap, efficient creature that your friend will never be able to block.
Dystopia could help against enchantments, if that's what your friend is going for.
Gloom will be essential, especially if you decide to go the discard route.
Hand of Cruelty is like Black Knight.
Inquisition is inexpensive, and gives you some reach.
Jovial Evil is similar to Inquisition.
Knight of Infamy, Knight of Stromgald, Order of the Ebon Hand and Stromgald Crusader would be good if you decide to go aggro.
Lifebane Zombie is a solid pick, especially for the discard route.
Marauding Knight could be a bomb against your friend.
Self-Inflicted Wound gets around protection.
Stromgald Cabal should probably go in no matter what.
Virtue's Ruin should definitely go in no matter what.

Read the words, MTGApprentice2016. Duel Commander.
Animar is always going to be a pain, simply because it grows too quickly for a lot of stuff and floods the board. I always like a Perish in my deck, as while it does hit you too, it also takes Animar off the board and wipes out the dorks they will be playing.
Another consideration is Dystopia as it can just be a "you can't play your mana for 1-4 turns" enchantment.

ok lantern makes sense then. wish you could use Mindlock Orb but no blue for you :(. im not very good with knowing what to cut from a deck without having played it or seen it played but Rune-Scarred Demon is rather expensive for what it does, Ophiomancer is cool but im not sure that it does much for your strategy, im not a big fan of color specific hate like Gloom but if most your opponents use white then i suppose it works still feels more like a sideboard card to me, Dystopia since it hates 2 colors should be fine but token users which like those colors laugh at it. basically take a look at what colors your opponents use and if one of your color hate only affects one or a few of them i would sideboard the card, if you have constantly changing opponents then i would replace all those effects with more generic ones. unless those cards are helping a lot. have you considered some of the other discard happy enchants like Megrim? i could see some more of that sort of thing being rather strong in your deck of course if people are only getting one card a turn it could also be useless. hopefully some of my babble is useful.

I like the deck and think you should run Phyrexian Obliterator instead of the khajit woman. :)
I have a few suggestion that I hope help.
I will first suggest my favorite card, Grave Pact. It is incredibly powerful and makes people shy away from messing with you. I like your No Mercy and it can be degenerate when combined with Glacial Chasm or Exsanguinate. Another card that pairs beautifully with Exsanguinate is Kokusho, the Evening Star. It is just oppressive when brought back over and over with Strands of Night, Animate Dead, Dance of the Dead, Necromancy, Living Death, Beacon of Unrest, or Chainer, Dementia Master. I'm wondering if this deck would benefit from 1 time use reanimation cards like Mimic Vat and Diabolic Servitude. Buried Alive and Corpse Connoisseur seem vital for a reanimation deck and should be included with your entomb. also on tutors, Diabolic Intent is good with any fodder and Sidisi, Undead Vizier has been a cheaper and stronger Rune-Scarred Demon in my experience. Shriveling Rot is an insane spell and is my favorite "Trap Card" in black, Massacre Wurm being its creature counterpart. It's utility is through the roof, along with cards like Smallpox, Pox, and Death Cloud. Hellfire is a 5 mana Plague Wind with a little bit of burn but its nothing an Exsanguinate wont patch up.
Blacks number 1 weakness is its inability to remove artifacts and enchantments. Any black deck can be shut down by cards like Solitary Confinement, Nevermore, or Moat, Humility and so this deck may want something like Dystopia, Oblivion Stone, Nevinyrral's Disk, Smokestack, or Perilous Vault to remove something that could otherwise cost you a game.
Great alter, I haven't watched Full Metal Alchemist in forever. +1
