My old Standard deck from back in the good ol' days of Zendikar. Just posting this for fun. Still love playing this thing against other Standard decks from throughout the years. Plays well against some Modern lists too!

Found Abyssal Perscecutor was a better play in my meta than the Demon of Death's Gate play. Plus who doesn't like not being able to win? Tried to personalize this list as lots of people liked playing vamps back then.

... Random update, but Bloodghast is likely my favourite magic card ever. Really like cards that have a drawback for anything positive they also provide while doing interesting things. Feel like there's less of these cards as magic continues to powercreep, especially at the rate it has last few years (2025). And that og art!
