Disperse is so useful as some mild enchantment, planes walker hate i'm considering swapping the DB and GFTT for them main board but don't think i will, considering extra contagion clasp and tumble magnet post board but there isn't much i don't want might go to 2 despise and 1 spell bomb pre board as at worst its a cantrip, that can be found with tezzert at best it wins games
Red Splash

I decided to splash red for Olivia Voldaren and hardcasting Gut Shot seems good so far in testing.Small Changes

I've changed the AEther Adept and Unsummon for 4x Doom Blade. Also Disentomb for Unburial Rites
vintagerobo147, 13 years ago
Pretty self explanatory, only problem I have with it is that I get absolutely FUCKED by any sort of control deck.

This is a build from violettia placed 3rd in MTGO Standard Premier - 12/5/11ASmith, 13 years ago
UPDATE1: Significant changes, including adding a sideboard.
Removed: X-mana burn spells (never actually useful, because if the game gets to that point, he's playing control, and they're not going to go through... and even if they do, they're not winning me the game).
Frightful delusions (suck after the very early game)
Shock (Strictly worse then galvanic blast)
Reduced the number of burn spells (removed one Incinerate, one Shock/Galvanic Blast) to make some space for two Desperate Ravings
Added: Sideboard!
Reverberate/Redirect (extremely versatile spells useful in almost any situation; reverberate is better in my meta because of control decks, but redirect is better against burn, so I keep it in the sideboard)
The charmbreaker is a wincon... If it survives until my upkeep, I've won, pretty much. Looking to replace one more scamp with a noble. I'm thinking I want to keep the furnace scamps, though, because of how useful they are with brimstone volley.
Taking into account McFlamehead, I'm thinking of getting an inferno titan and a Chandra... and 4 Snapcasters. Still, not convinced I want to spend over 100$ on this. Will keep you guys posted! Thanks for any comments, criticism, etc.

Dropped R/B/G from the deck, added some U/W. Dissipate, Paradox Haze, Holy Day, Evacuation, and Tinker. Tinker made me consider adding Blightsteel Colossus, but I don't want to draw that much hate. Ideally, I'd find a way to replicate the effect of Dismantle so I can get Darksteel Reactor a jump start if I get it out late.

Splashed green for Doubling Season. Just got Oona in the mail and added her as the final slot in the deck. also: added some swords of feast and famine, fire and ice, and war and peace for usage on Geist-Honored Monk or Elite Inquisitor. Also made it so that this deck has a max converted cost of 5 for any one card, with the exception of Oona.

Update 1
JazzCrimes, 13 years ago
Lattice and Door out for now, for two reasons: the first being that I'm finally making the real-world Mycosynth Door deck, and the second being to abuse Keening Stone and Decimator Web. Web did very well the first time I played it, and if it continues to do so, I'll be making changes to accommodate more Webs.

Rite of Replication for Cast Through Time Parallectric Feedback for Hellkite Charger Finally have Rite of Replication. Got it out to make 12 Magmatic Forces. That's 36 damage per upkeep and 84 if I swing. The game ended shortly thereafter.

Okay, finally got something I'm satisfied with. The main body deck is a pure aggro deck as it is designed to get just one poison counter on the player, and then proliferate until victory. What I'll think I will do to counter the Melira, Sylvok Outcast problem is keep some Dismember and Surgical Extraction in my sideboard just in case. If you guys can give me any advice to this decks weaknesses, please go ahead.
3rd Place FNM
myronrocks, 13 years ago
I came in 3rd place with this deck tonight at Red Castle Games in Oregon! 2-1 vs GW humans/tokens (funky start. I was distracted and trying to get into the game. Took command once I was comfortable.) 0-2 vs RDW (soul crushed) 2-0 bye (hey it's a win) 2-0 vs WU humans (both games managed to stabilize early game and sweep mid to late)

Removed Day of Judgment and added Culling Dais. This helps find my win condition once the engine is running. This also allows me to remove several plains and add Phyrexia's Core.

Changed a few things around. Got rid of the Moorlands because I feel that the drakes outweigh it as a resource while Sun Titan still uses creatures in the graveyard. Play testing Feeling of Dread because of the U/W compatibility. If not working out then will switch for 2 more probes. Snapcasters are in here now, not sure if 4 is really necessary, 1 is being bumped for 1 DoJ as a clear just in case. Got rid of Delver. Not liking his flip requirement because of my higher creature base. Looking for a good replacement, currently sticking Skyhunter as a simple 2/2 flier for 2. Went more creature base with Invisible Stalker.

Sideboard Update

Put 2x Nephalia Drownyard in the SB to help with mirror matches. Since I don't run 4x Snapcaster Mage, its really not that beneficial to me to run them stock in the MB.
Cut down to 2x Ratchet Bomb in the SB since I run 2x Black Sun's Zenith MB. Between the 4 of them, I should have token decks pretty much covered.
Running 3x Negate instead of 2, since the spells I'm worried most about are planeswalkers and creature removal. With another Negate instead of a second Stoic Rebuttal I can get the early counter in without having to worry about double {U} and 3 mana.
Contemplating running a MB Tribute to Hunger to help with Thrun, the Last Troll and Dungrove Elder, although I haven't really had too many problems with either of them.
