I think the biggest weakness of this deck is that it's hard to curve out early with so many of the slots occupied by cards at 3 CMC or higher. The ideal play pattern is probably to slam down Champion of the Perished on turn 1 and then follow up with a zombie or 2 every following turn until finishing with a bomb. This is difficult to do with Relentless Dead as your only 2 drop, and if you don't draw Champion, the lack of 1 drops makes things even worse. I'd recommend adding something like Gravecrawler, Diregraf Ghoul, Cryptbreaker, or Dread Wanderer to provide early pressure in the absence of a champion. Then, on 2, I personally like Undead Augur for the draw, especially paired with a sac outlet like Carrion Feeder. Other 2s could be Waste Not with a discard package, Graveyard Marshal as a lordless Cemetery Reaper, or you could dedicate the slots to cheaper removal. Invoke Despair is very flashy but seldom as efficient as a Thoughtseize or Fatal Push. On 3, you have enough cards, although I would still offer Geralf's Messenger, Diregraf Colossus, and Lord of the Accursed as other options to consider. To make room, the most obvious place to start is the bloated 6-slot, and as much as I love using him in my Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest EDH deck, Champion of Stray Souls is very slow in 60-card formats. Helm of the Host, Liliana, Dreadhorde General, and Killing Wave (without a drain package with Gray Merchant of Asphodel) also seem underwhelming to me. It should be noted that I'm using modern as the basis for my evaluation. If your local casual meta is slow enough, running more big guys isn't as big of a problem, although I'd still try for more 1s and 2s just to avoid games where you're bricked until turn 3.

Some thoughts:
-
Zombies are a very aggro deck. Aether Vial is better suited to midrange gameplans, and will only slow you down here, i’d suggest ditching them, and going up to 20 lands.
-
Waaay too many 3 drops, i’d suggest limiting yourself to 8 cards. If it were me, that would be in the form of playsets of Geralf's Messenger and Geralf, Visionary Stitcher, as they’ll give you the best “bang for buck” at the top end of the spectrum.
-
Run the full playset of Carrion Feeder, as it just works soo well alongside Gravecrawler and Champion of the Perished. Feeder is one of the best zombies for the zombie archtype as it gives you a ton of utility.
-
Undead Augur is a great 2-drop, and Tainted Adversary isn’t bad. But Graveyard Marshal and Relentless Dead don’t seem great. If you need an additional 2-drop, i’d suggest Bladestitched Skaab, or Jadar, Ghoulcaller of Nephalia
-
you need more interaction to guarantee you can wear your opponent down. I’d suggest 8 killspells total. Something like a playset of Fatal Push and Infernal Grasp should work well. Dismember is fine, but can cause problems if you’re up against burn.

Rancid Rats seems like kind of a weak point in the deck! Skulk seems kind of wasted on a creature with Deathtouch - you're more than happy to have him blocked by one of your opponent's big fellas - and it will only get worse if you're trying to stack lords. If you really want the Deathtouch on a cheap body, I think Foulmire Knight would serve your purposes much better. He's one mana for the same 1/1 Deathtouch body, and can also score you an extra card if you draw him later in the game. Seeing as you already have eight one-drops, however, I can understand if you wanted a solid two-mana creature. Relentless Dead , Stromgald Crusader and Graveyard Marshal all would fit the bill.
By the way, Ghoulcaller's Chant is also directly superior to Return from Extinction in a zombie deck!

Looks great. I’d consider replacing Graveyard Marshal with Relentless Dead though. It has better utility.

I would lower the curve a lot and take out cards that cost more than 4 mana. I would also drop the blue from the deck.
Here are some cards that you might like:Carrion Feeder,Gravecrawler,Cryptbreaker,Graveyard Marshal,Undead Augur,Lazotep Reaver,Relentless Dead,Death Baron,Zombie Infestation, and Diregraf Colossus.
Nice job for your first deck from scratch. It's probably a lot better than mine. +1

Cool deck.
I think you need to get Diregraf Colossus into this build for the finale, maybe cut the Graveyard Marshal ?
Also, if you have 4 Thoughtseize , try and get a few of them into the main.
Liliana's Mastery , also take a look at Risen Executioner , he's a zombie lord, that gives you an extra "B" for devotion.

NerdPounder The only problem with cutting creatures is making Collected Company weaker. Blood scrivener has done some suprising work actually. Especailly when I have a rotting regisaur out or using 2 modes of collective brutality I end up hellbent quick. Drawing 2 is pretty sweet at that point. It helps in grindier matches against control or another midrange deck. I've thought about replacing it with Graveyard Marshal due to its stats, but it's ability isn't very useful in practice IME.

@Dreamweav3r, though I do agree with the notion this deck should play more 2-drops, I'm not really fond of Graveyard Marshal since I don't see myself activating him so much and while a 3/2 for 2 is pretty nice, I believe there are better options. I've opted to put in Lazotep Reaver since that card will provide 2 zombies most of the time which is nice for Cryptbreaker and our Zombie lords. Also I believe that Dark Salvation is a pretty strong card since you can also play it with X=0 to kill a creature for 1 mana, but I noticed that Murderous Rider was a bit slow, so I decided to cut him from the mainboard and replace The Elderspell in the sideboard for it. Finally I tried 22 lands, but I noticed a lot more mana struggles and I rather be safe than sorry (although 22 might still be the correct choice).
