Sideboard


I like the card Geist of Saint Traft and enjoy the way the deck plays. I like that the deck can switch from an aggressive to a more controlling deck while still in game one.

If there are any questions about the deck please ask. Also, please comment any tweaks that you think would be good. I am looking to take this deck to a PPTQ at the end of the month (22 February).

Non-Typical Card Choices:

Polluted Delta and Bloodstained Mire are both significantly cheaper than Arid Mesa and Scalding Tarn. They also act decently as a replacement since with the searching of black they can find any other color in the deck as well.

Ghost Quarter and Tectonic Edge. I am currently trying only Ghost Quarter. If you have a preference for one over the other please tell me. Ghost Quarter requires no mana to activate and in often times a kill spell for opposing manlands. It has allowed me to play very well against Affinity.
