This deck has undergone so.e serious changes, and I feel like it is powerful enough at this point to merit my focus for a while. Below is will include the deck lists sans lands with a short description explaining each card choice. Any questions, comments, or suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated. Of you are curious about a cards interaction, just ask. :)

The Idea:

The idea for this deck came from me attempting to break Rain of Gore for about a week when I was a younger player. I finally did...but it was a hectic combo and not really feasible...fast forward to present day, and we have the AWESOMENESS that is Tainted Remedy. This deck is designed to take advantage of this cards abilities in a semi-competetive atmosphere. I would love to turn this into a tier 2.5 or maybe even tier 2 deck someday.

The Goal:

This deck has two primary win conditions, Tainted Remedy and forcing your opponent to "gain" life...and an old favorite of mine Pack Rat . Both are very easy to take advantage of, and both are powerful in their own right.

Control:

This part of the deck focuses on interaction with the opponent. Path to Exile, Condemn , Victim of Night, Thoughtseize, Devour Flesh , and Oust all insure that I have a good answer for MOST situations. Many of these double as pings through Tainted Remedy.

Card Advantage:

This deck runs a few draw spells, or similar effects. Phyrexian Arena and Dark Confidant are my primary two. Many people don't believe both are necessary, but with Pack Rat being a win-con, you can NEVER have too many draw outlets. Wall of Shards could even be substituted with Wall of Omens, and may eventually even in my build. This deck needs a LOT of playtesting, but I do not have much time to do it in. So my build will take a while to refine.

The Creatures:

Wall of Shards, Dark Confidant, and Pack Rat round out my relatively small creature base. All of them have great synergies with the deck, but low creature decks are new to me, so this will take some fine tuning. Mutavault helps with Pack Rat ...but I don't know if I should count that or not...haha.

In short, my goal here is to make a new, fun archetype of play. If it takes off, awesome...if not, I tried. Haha. Thank you very much for the view and hopefully the like!! Any playtesting you would like to do verses your own decks would be GREATLY beneficial, and let me know how it plays. Thanks!!

Updates Add

This deck started a little gimmicky and rapidly evolved to something I fell in love with. This deck is powerful, and I enjoy the small interactions between my cards. As such, the comments for the old version are relatively irrelevant at this point, so we start fresh!! Thanks!!! :p
