This is a modern Red-Black burn deck (technically Mardu), and something I've been playing for a while

- Sword-Point Diplomacy (in my use) has more or less proven to be better than Risk Factor or Browbeat for this deck simply due to the fact that giving us any non-land is almost always incorrect. sometimes giving us lands can even be incorrect, so it often is 6-9 damage from a cast. they are basically interchangeable though.

- Dash Hopes is in a similar position as it is a cost efficient 5 damage burn spell that also randomly counters spells.

The main-deck is very self-explanatory, so i'll explain my sideboard a bit:

• Blood Moon for when Blood Moon wins. recommend siding out dash hopes if you intend to side this in
• Boros Charm to protect against sweepers or as extra burn against decks that let Vexing Devil hit the battlefield
• Bedevil for slower matches where we're on the back foot.
• Goblin Cratermaker makes craters in Karn Liberated , Ugin, the Spirit Dragon , and Krark-Clan Ironworks , so it seemed like a good inclusion
• Rain of Gore is a token effort to not insta-scoop to life-gain
• Surgical Extraction surgically extracts combos, just in case they could live Eidolon of the Great Revel + Harsh Mentor
• Fragmentize beats Worship and Leyline of Sanctity , which we otherwise cannot beat

for a more white-oriented build gain some more Fragmentize + Boros Charm , exchange Bedevil for Path to Exile , and add Kambal, Consul of Allocation . cut down on cards with in their mana cost and Bump in the Night
