Oh god what have I done

So the deck is simple to follow, you have 37 Rat Colony s in a 99 card deck, that gives you a slightly higher than 37% chance to topdeck one rising every time you draw something that isn't a colony so you always have one available and they already combo with themselves to make each other stronger.

Falling back onto Muldrotha, the Gravetide , he (she / it?) will let you cast them from the yard if some of them die in trades, as well as you can use all your other permanents that are destroyed or milled making self sacrificing permanents super good.

The rest of the deck is some cheap goodstuff for Muldrotha to fall back on like Armillary Sphere to keep your hand full of lands, Courier's Capsule to keep your hand full o cards of every type and Banewhip Punisher to clear out creatures, then we get to the weird part.

You also use some weird cards most people would never even consider using for a commander deck, Bloodbond March (one of the reasons I wanted the deck to contain green) is normally hot garbage but being able to recover all of your rats from a boardwipe by casting one from your hand is pretty wild. Nantuko Shrine loads up your board with tokens if people are dumb enough to kill your rats. Echoing Courage is a 2 mana +2/+2 for all the rats at once, but it means something like a saproling token can't take out a rat, and if you have any unblocked rats, they do 2 additional damage each, that adds up fast my dudes. Pack Hunt tutors 3 rats, and Secret Salvage exiles a rat from your yard to tutor any number of them. Pretty good for cards that are normaly unplayable in commander.

Now on to the normal stuff, Tetsuko Umezawa, Fugitive , not normally good, but gives rats unblockable unless you have your Door of Destinies or Coat of Arms that make the rats into complete monsters, Bontu's Monument makes them cost only one mana and they burn everyone for 1 on cast which is sweet, and the neatest tech card in here, Verdant Succession is the weirdest method of reanimation, especialy in commander, it's boardwipe insurance!

Out of all the lands in here, basics are fine, the lands that sacrifice themselves to tutor lands become weird ramp-peices for when Muldrotha is in play and cycling lands draw you a card then you play them from the yard so there's no downside.

You can improve the deck by replacing the Rat Colony s with Relentless Rats instead, that would make umezawa completely useless so you would swap him out for something else that buffs the rats, Adaptive Automaton , Kindred Dominance , Metallic Mimic and Obelisk of Urd come to mind, also while on the subject, Kindred Summons is worth considering a slot as well.

Your friends hate you for playing something so dumb and killing them with card value and big damage jank tribal, you're welcome! And before I forget, Dragon Throne of Tarkir is a fantastic cheap include (that's reusable because of the commander) that prevents your opponents from killing off your rats with saprolings and may as well prevent blocks all together with rats of the relentless variety.
