This is an update to my Blood of the Night deck that focuses more on all three colors, rather than splashing white for Sorin, Lord of Innistrad.

The Idea here is still the same, sacrificing creatures for various results.

Falkenrath Aristocrat is a very difficult creature to kill in this deck, and being able to sac Doomed Traveler and Ash Zealots for +1/+1 counters and indestructibility is very, very nice. All the while triggering Blood Artist.

Cartel Aristocrat is a pretty neat combat trick, being able to sac a blocked creature for protection against the blocking color, and being able to survive spot removal. Still triggering Blood Artist.

Bloodline Keeper   and Sorin, Lord of Innistrad are there to pump out creatures and buff up my vampires. Stromkirk Captain also buffs vampires and gives them first strike.

It's important to understand why I use Killing Wave here. With Blood artist out, I'm going to be paying X as many times as I have blood artists out. It guarantees the damage, and late game, guarantees some board removal. The fact that this deck is very aggressive forces my opponent to play carefully, and I never pay more for X than I can pay, because it affects my board too.

As for the sideboard, it just gives me utility to face most situations.

UPDATE: Help me move this into M14. Doom blade was an auto-include; but now I'm considering Xathrid Necromancer among other things.
