Sideboard

Maybeboard

It's kind of like blue moon but less control and uses Thing in the Ice (will be using TITI) & Stormbreath Dragon. I am thinking of splashing white and make it Jeskai for Supreme Verdict, L. Helix, Path and R. Angel but I feel like the deck would lose its core purpose of being a Blue Moon Variant and just become a Jeskai control deck. Yes, the board wipes could be useful for hexproof and tokens but TITI bounces the whole field when flipped and has the potential of swinging for 14 w/ Temur Battle Rage. I'm missing some of the more expensive cards (i.e. Cryptic, A. Vision, S. Tarn, & Sleight) for this deck but I'm running an okay set-up for now. This is how I visioned the ideal Blue Moon Variant.

The deck plays a lot like a tempo deck with Blood Moon being the back bone of the deck while drawing answers with S. Visions, A. Vision, Sleight of Hand, and baby Jace (baby Jace is here for some flashback flavor). It's job is to suppress your opponent to the point where you can smash with a 7/8 Awoken Horror or a Pro. white flying Stormbreath Dragon. With the red splash, the deck has the potential to quickly turn into a blue-red aggro playstyle with L. Bolt, Stormbreath Dragon, and Snapcaster-bolt combo. As such, the deck can also adapt into a control-tempo play by just letting TITI sit in the field & protecting it w/ counterspells, while potentially drawing more answers for your opponent. If you're wondering why I picked stubborn denial, it's because that there is an off chance where you can use the last TITI cast trigger to get Stubborn Denial's ferocious trigger and straight up just say, "nope". It applies pressure to the opponent and will shift the attention to killing or pathing TITI while you draw into a Stormbreath and more answers. It has a good combo with Snapcaster Mage by triggering the flip w/ Snapcaster Mage and getting Snapcaster mage back to your hand for another flashback. So imagine a snapcaster bolt/electrolyze to opponent ---> flip ---> 7 damage (or flip w/ temur battle rage to get 14 points of dmg across). Reminder: TITI flips through cast trigger so the cast trigger always goes first.

The sideboard is a bit junky but the deck needs some artifact hate and land hate. This deck kind-of suffers under graf-cage and torpor orb. Feel free to suggest more things. The deck is a bit iffy with enchantment-centered decks since blue and red doesnt really have enchantment hate. Also, I'm not sure about how I should approach graveyard hate yet with the sideboard but I should have some ideas in the maybeboard. It really depends on the current meta. Yet, sometimes I mainboard 1 anger just in case. Good against coco and tokens. So again, feel free to suggest any cards that could help the deck. Thank you!

Some Q&A:Why gut shot?- Good last minute TITI flip without having to expend any mana. Useful while you're tapped out.Why Stormbreath Dragon?- It's good for a finisher if you managed a long game while all your TITIs in the graveyard. Pro-white is a plus so you can have a blocker that is unaffected by path and white creatures.
- Can become a 7/7 killer.Why baby Jace?- Flavor.
