Biotransference

Enchantment

Creatures you control are artifacts in addition to their other types. The same is true for creature spells you control and creature cards you own that aren't on the battlefield.

Whenever you cast an artifact spell, you lose 1 life and create a 2/2 black Necron Warrior artifact creature token.

DreadKhan love your ideas!

The Nesting Grounds it's amazing to keep it safe!

I never thought about proliferate, that could be great with moving the phylactery counters around, althoug I think you'll have to commmit the deck to it to get a great benefit, maybe with some kind of +1+1 voltron strategy or something similar. I 'll think more about it.

Decree of Pain, Necromantic Selection, those kind of wanky junky black cards it's what i really like, like Last Laugh and Withering Wisps. About Phyrexian Scriptures, Damnation and other boardwipes are great!

I've never thought of Pestilence+deathtouch/lifelink counter! It sounds amazing!! To clear the board it is great to, and your lich the only thing alive, I'll look for similar cards. I knew the Blood combo you said, It's great and works amazing with the cards you said! In my playgroup we try to avoid it any combo so I cannot put it in, but I love it. Great synergy too with those amazing lands!

Great those ideas to prevent the lich to be stolen!

In my playgroup we have too some budget restrictions to try to balance deck, I'll try to fit the expensive lands in it!

I have though that we can include some zombie interaction like Call to the Grave that seems amazing and full of flavour 'cause liches are trying to escape dead.

And some artifact mutation like Biotransference or Liquimetal Torque and the other one that do the same on some great indestructible creatures.

Another ideas: Assault Suit to avoid sacrifice the lich, and Conjurer's Closet to put more phylactery counters, and other blink cards

I would suggest Encroaching Mycosynth over Biotransference as it makes all of your Nonland Permanents into Artifacts, not just Creatures, and doesn’t suck up all your life along with it.

Also, Mycosynth Golem helps get your Creatures out for free, especially if you have Biotransference or Encroaching Mycosynth out.

Hey, interesting version, but you're building your deck with combo mindset without having the last combo piece to win... Building this way could hinder gameplay since you don't want to win with combo? If you're avoiding infinite combos then I presume attacking is main wincon? Consider more effects to make Breya a better attacker and adding board wipe(s) that don't destroy artifact creatures? These wipes pair extremely well with Biotransference.

If reanimating and recurring artifacts is a strategy then consider Imotekh the Stormlord? It also can make Breya a good attacker, 6/6 with menace. Marionette Master and Disciple of the Vault are subpar if they aren't the wincon of a combo. They can only hit one opponent at a time which is not as good outside of combo compared to Reckless Fireweaver who hits each opponent and Mayhem Devil who can hit any target.

Consider cutting a few lands? The Tri lands, Bridges and Temples all in the same manabase is a lot of lands that always ETB tapped. Of these the Temples are the lesser lands since Bridges are artifacts and Tri lands more color fixing.

Good luck with your deck.

Hey, you're welcome.

You're right, a high avg. CMC hurting gameplay can be deceiving if you have reanimation. To help reanimation be more of a factor consider adding some cards that can search for and put card(s) of your choice from your library into your graveyard?

Unmarked Grave is two mana to tutor for and put Wurmcoil Engine or Triplicate Titan into your graveyard, Buried Alive can get both of them, that's better than potentially drawing them especially Triplicate. Or get Razorlash Transmogrant to get this guy going. A reason to play Vile Entomber is Biotransference making it a potentially repeatable effect that can get any card. Entomber can get Bolas's Citadel.

Adding Myr Retriever is a reason to keep Mirrorworks. These two cards combo with Ashnod's Altar for infinite Necrons.

  • Cast Retriever, trigger Mirrorworks to copy Retriever.
  • In response to Mirrorworks trigger sac Retriever with Altar.
  • Resolve Retriever die trigger returning any artifact to hand and trigger Imotekh.
  • Resolve Mirrorworks trigger, pay floating from Altar, creating a Retriever copy.
  • Sac Retriever copy with Altar, returning Retriever to your hand and trigger Imotekh.
  • Repeat

Myr Retriever also combos with Scrap Trawler and Ashnod's Altar for infinite Necrons even on an opponent turn with Shimmer Myr.

  • Sac Retriever with Altar, recur an artifact and trigger Imotekh.
  • Sac Trawler, recur Retriever and trigger Imotekh.
  • Sac a Necron, cast Retriever, sac Retriever, recur Trawler and trigger Imotekh.
  • Cast Trawler and repeat.

This combo you need to make it infinite, for Retriever and for Trawler to repeatedly cast them from your hand. By sacing one Necron each iteration of the combo makes an extra , making for infinite Necrons also makes infinite colorless mana. Workshop Assistant and Junk Diver are other artifact Retrievers who can replace Trawler in the combo.

You still have four cards to cut, consider these four? A direction to consider for cuts is further reduce the mana curve? Traxos, Scourge of Kroog is just a beater, all the other 4 drop artifact creatures here do something else as well as being a beater because of menace. Ghouls' Night Out, you don't need this effect with a 5 mana spell that isn't an artifact.

Batterskull is just a beater and it has a very high equip cost which you can't reduce to use it after the Gem is removed. The life gain from Batterskull could be helpful especially with Bolas's Citadel and Anrakyr the Traveller, but I wouldn't play a 5 drop to get life gain when you can gain life from other much lower mana cost sources. Resurrection Orb is another source of lifelink that also has a high equip cost, but Orb is much better for overall strategy here than Batterskull.

Sceptre of Eternal Glory and The Golden Throne are better ramp than Solemn Simulacrum. A reason to cut Solemn is having lots of four drop ramp is not where you want to be with ramp, 0-2 CMC, some 3 CMC ramp is better for gameplay. Mind's Eye is better 5 drop than Ghouls' Night Out and Batterskull, but Eye could also be cut for lower mana cost draw.

Overwhelming Remorse could be cut for Canoptek Tomb Sentinel? The cost reduction of Remorse can be good, but very situational. The potential repeatability of Canoptek since it's an artifact creature to reanimate is better and Canoptek can exile any nonland permanent which is very helpful effect to have in mono black.

Having good removal from my experience playing with this decklist is the biggest downfall. I found myself unable to deal with your opponent's bombs effectively so I'd suggest including cards such as Go for the Throat for overall efficiency or Necron Deathmark if you want to go for more of a resurrection loop with your Resurrection Orb through a sac outlet would help this further as it is mana expensive.

I'd highly recommend replacing your Heraldic Banner with either Door of Destinies or including a sac outlet such as Ashnod's Altar to enable the resurrection items (orb, skele shard, etc) and getting death/etb effects. You could do one of the in-archetype sac outlets such as Illuminor Szeras but most require you to tap the sac outlet so can't spam it multiple times in a turn. Door of Destinies creates more of a threat for your opponent and buff your creatures much more. Biotransference can also be a spicy replacement to generate a wider board state and ok chump blockers.

Overall here are the changes I'd personally make:
