A standard take on a BUG Control deck. I have faith in the concept, but I am always open to criticism and advice. The main idea is to stall the board with removal long enough to drop in a heavy hitter such as Desecration Demon or AEtherling. From there a Progenitor Mimic to begin copying the big guys.

The Golgari Charm is sideboarded due to the regenerate ability. It seems a good counter to Supreme VerdictAside from that I could use advice on the rest of the sideboard.

-Main Board-Abrupt Decay- I mean come on...do we really want to let them keep their Chandra's Phoenix , Nightveil Specter , or Boros Reckoner? No...No, we do not.

AEtherling- Let's be honest...This Guy Wins Games...Esper Control Decks have been running this guy forever. You obviously have a good card when a deck can literally run one creature and still beat you down with it.

Progenitor Mimic - What's worse than one AEtherling? How about two or more?! The possibilities are endless with this guy. Oh, you played a Grey Merchant of Asphodel? Don't mind me...I'll just copy him and keep draining your life...And don't even get me started on that mana ramp deck that managed to cheat out a Worldspine Wurm...heh

Desecration Demon - Getting this guy out as early as turn 3 is a quick way to take control of a field. He's a good question that an opponent has to find an answer to quickly.

Doom Blade- Goodbye Master of Waves and anything else without a little black in it.

Prophet of Kruphix Allows me to keep my mana open for instant removal, and lets me flash in creatures at my opponent's end step. Sounds like a solid winner to me.

Hero's Downfall- Instant speed removal of almost any threat? Yes please. I'll take a playset!

Read the Bones- Paying a little to sort though to the good stuff :D

Sylvan Caryatid- Well...Let's be honest. Tri-Color mana base can be a little tricky in standard. So, a little insurance never hurts. Plus a solid 3 toughness slows down a lot of the red deck wins little guys.

Ultimate Price- It's a nice answer to many of the devotion decks, and it offers a bit of versatility.

Essence Scatter Bye-Bye creatures

Negate Bye-Bye everything else lol

Dissolve Nah, you're not going to cast that...whatever it is xD

Thoughtseize- All I'm saying is that this is a quick way to mess up somebody's day...enough said.

-Side Board-

Golgari Charm- Let's be honest...Who here likes having their field wiped clean from a Supreme Verdict? Not me!

Lifebane Zombie- Green/White hate and intimidate. Check!

Mistcutter Hydra - Protection from Blue...Can't Be Countered...Haste, and I can make him as big as I can afford. Can somebody please tell me this card's downside???

Putrefy - For those pesky Bidents and Hammers...and More creature removal

Dimir Charm- The options man! The options!

Jace, Architect of Thought Well, this is a control deck isn't it?

Vraska the Unseen Man, she's just mean...

So, I like the way it's running except for the fact that I have to shock myself A LOT. Could anyone think of an effective way to gain life?

Also, any ideas on a card draw mechanic. Just curious.
