I would replace Tidy Conclusion with Contract Killing. It's the same cost but you get more of those Treasure tokens you need.

You don't really have that many cards with in the casting cost so you should adjust your swamp to island ratio so you can hit double black more reliably. I'd swap out 5 islands for 5 swamps and see how that plays. You can get away with a couple of lands that come in tapped so a Dimir Guildgate is a budget friendly option as well.

I'd do whatever I could to replace that Manalith with a Sol Ring . The price on them should go down some when the C19 product hits in August.

Tidy Conclusion and Unholy Hunger are too expensive CMC-wise for the additional benefit they provide [very minimal life gain for the most part]. Some better replacements: Hero's Downfall , Vona's Hunger , Go for the Throat , Tragic Slip and Necrotic Wound

One zombie you should add as more removal is Fleshbag Marauder . Its a great target for Gravedigger and the like as well.

DemonDragonJ, you must be disappointed every set then - Contract Killing, Lethal Sting, Torment of Venom, Vanquish the Weak, Tidy Conclusion, Certain Death, Murderous Compulsion are all worse cards than the ones you listed, in just the last year. It is almost as if Wizards prints removal like that based on the needs of the Limited environment in the set.

Fair enough. Personally, I prefer Aristocrats- Bontu the Glorified and Syndicate Trafficker is the way I would probably go- but that's just personal preference.A nice card here would be Tidy Conclusion

I think you need to attempt to balance your creature curve, maybe add some more vampires. Some of the best vampires are 2 and 3 drops.

Assuming you bought the EDH deck - I'd add back in Captivating Vampire, Stromkirk Captain, and Blood Artist. They're all just too good at their CMC not to include.

Other Budget-friendly upgrades - Yahenni, Undying Partisan is very reasonably priced and is one of the best 3-drop vampires. Voldaren Pariah  Flip is pretty cheap and her ability works particularly well with the vampire tokens generated from Edgar's eminence ability.

My favorite non-budget vampires are Olivia Voldaren, Drana, Liberator of Malakir, and Vona, Butcher of Magan and none of them are really outrageously priced either. Necropolis Regent will win games if it's let to live and it just got a reprint.

Get rid of Mind Rot. Tidy Conclusion isn't worth the CMC with the number of artifacts you run. Armillary Sphere - I just don't see the value. I'd run Burnished Hart any day over it.

Ok, so first buy a 2nd copy of the deck. You will then have 2 copies of Tezzeret, Master of Metal and 4 copies of Tezzeret's Betrayal. This will be a huge step in the right direction. Tezzeret's -3 ability is where you will get most of his value. You want to run as many artifacts and artifact creatures as you can. Scrapheap Scrounger Treasure Keeper Filigree Familiar Fleetwheel Cruiser Skysovereign, Consul Flagship and Merchant's Dockhand are all cheap and solid cards to include. To this end, Tezzeret's Simulacrum is great for his ability. Tezzeret's Touch is decent, but provides real value when attached to one of the vehicles mentioned above. They still keep their abilities when enchanted, so the Fleetwheel Cruiser has trample and becomes a 5/5, even better tho since if it dies you don't need to bother with crewing it since it becomes a creature on entry to the battlefield. Metallic Rebuke is also inexpensive and very good in this type of strategy, if you cant get Fatal Push the lifegain from Tidy Conclusion will make it a little more playable.

I've added Tidy Conclusion to punish my opponent by gaining life. Inventor's Apprentice is great, because turn one, mountain, turn two, Animation Module Pay 1 to get two creatures on turn two, a 1/1 and a 2/3 Underhanded Designs is also good, because if I have spare mana, I can cast it, make my opponent lose 1 life and I gain one life. Thanks for the tips though!
