The comparison is closer to Faith's Fetters, it doesn't change the type of the target (which would disable creature sacrifice effects to get rid of), it just disables or inconveniences the use of the permanent. For a mana cheaper, a more effective shutdown and a beneficial etb effect on uncommon on Faith's Fetters, this Prisim Prison card could be a common and nobody would bat an eye at it. It feels pretty overcosted for an effect that can be negated that cheap, even Heliod's Punishment seems a more effective card. It's pretty annoying on a planeswalker, but 5 mana to not even completely disable a creature or planeswalker seems like way too much if Fateful Absence actually is a card.

Some aura-based interaction could be cool to include here, and there are a lot of options: Song of the Dryads , Darksteel Mutation , Reprobation , Frogify , Kasmina's Transmutation , Lignify , Mystic Subdual , Heliod's Punishment , Imprisoned in the Moon , Ichthyomorphosis , Deep Freeze , Minimus Containment , Faith Unbroken , Disruption Aura , Mark of Eviction

Skyclave Apparition would be helpfull against crabs..
I may try adding Heliod's Punishment hadn't really conidered that one and i don't think i have ever seen it played. It actually makes a good bit of sense in this deck though.
Lavabrink Venturer is solid and can be inflated
I don't see Emeria's Call Flip doing to much good, though it is castable with this deck, I guess you get a free attack but rarely could you shatter after it,
maybe take out Felidar Retreat, it often is awkward though it has saved a game or 2.
Mangara, the Diplomat x2 is another thought i was having to replace felidar.

Some good includes would be Heliod's Punishment, Emeria's Call Flip, Skyclave Apparition and Lavabrink Venturer this like a fun deck that will throw some people off.
