You're right about the Wild Cantor's, now that I think about it they're a relic from when the deck was still three-colored and the mana-fixing might've been relevant.
I'd prefer creatures with either haste or comes-into-play/on-cast effects for the bigguns, or at least evasion. Chaos Imps and Gravetiller Wurm I had lying around and at least they've got the evasion part down. I kinda hoped that I'd churn out enough creatures and get enough value out of them before they bite it for instant-removal to not be too much of an issue, but I might be gravely mistaken on that front.
Plated Crusher's got a lot goin' for it ((Generator Servant could help with haste), but flavor-wise it just doesn't feel appropriate. The little guys are literally burning themselves alive (along some trees) to summon something, so I'd rather the result looked somewhat supernatural or at least creepy and monstrous, like Gravetiller Wurm and Decimator of the Provinces.
Nonetheless, Deus of Calamity seems legit simply because of how much it could cripple opponents if left unchecked, as you said. Since it's cheap to afford I might even grab 4 copies.
Any ideas for additional haste-granting to the bigguns?
Thanks for your feedback!

My first impression is that there appear to be two different decks trying to survive in a single library. Since you built around the limited card pool you already had, that's not necessarily surprising or bad. But if you are serious about making the deck work by buying/trading for updates, it'd probably be best to start by narrowing down the strategic focus. Zombies clearly have the biggest presence here and make up the bulk of the strongest cards. Therefore, going all in on zombies would likely be the easiest choice to make. They tend to perform best in mono black with high impact lords like Cemetery Reaper and Death Baron or in B/U where you can benefit from some of the newer Innistrad spells. Green can potentially work as well, but you probably want to incorporate some unifying theme between the colors. For example, since zombies often care about having creatures in your graveyard, you could include green cards that do as well such as Seed Guardian and Splinterfright. Or maybe you want to exploit sacrifice effects for your zombies and could include morbid cards like Gravetiller Wurm. The problem with the current strategy involving +1/+1 counters is that the zombies in the deck have no real synergy with them. They can't gain you a bunch of life with lifelink or insta-kill your opponent with trample or infect. They also can't convert those counters into card advantage or removal. They just sorta get bigger. Now maybe that's perfectly fine for the direction you want to go, but since you're currently open to the entire Legacy card pool, it seems a shame to not dream bigger. And in my mind, that means taking the road less traveled and bending it to your will. Zombie decks are strong, but they're also a dime a dozen. You know what isn't these days? Golgari counters; the other deck hidden in the current 60 cards. It's certainly less represented in this deck and is almost certainly worse than zombies, but its undefined nature also gives you more freedom. The idea is to abuse the strong abilities of cards like Corpsejack Menace or even Korozda Gorgon with plenty of counter generators like outlast creatures and buff spells. Some other cards I've seen in such decks include (in no particular order) Primordial Hydra, Kalonian Hydra, Bow of Nylea, Increasing Savagery, Champion of Lambholt, Mycoloth, and Hunger of the Howlpack. Other solid inclusions are golgari cards with the scavenge ability like Slitherhead, as well as strong basic creatures that greatly benefit from getting bigger like Vampire Nighthawk. Well, those are just some of my incoherent ramblings. I wish you good luck in your exploits, whether casual or competitive.

My: 4x Monastery Mentor, 1x Splinter Twin, 1x Kiora, the Crashing Wave
His: 2x Verdant Catacombs, Flusterstorm, Blightsteel Colossus, Stoneforge Mystic, 2x Koth of the Hammer, 2x Grafdigger's Cage
So this guy is the filthiest of casuals and before the trade he said that he doesn't trade for value; he trades for usefulness in future projects. Apparently he really really needed a splinter twin because when I told him I had them his face lit up like i've never seen before.
The way that this trade went, I pulled out all of the cards from his binder that I wanted, he then pulled out things to match using the system of 1 mythic = 2 rares = 4 uncommons = ~15 commons. I was waiting for him to keep pulling things when he sticks out his hand, i'm just like "You're done?", he says yeah and looks very serious, then I ask again "Are you absolutely certain that you're happy with this trade? Because I'd be willing to get you more stuff", and he says that he is absolutely content with the trade.
So that was the day that I traded a splinter twin for like half a legacy deck.
But @ the OP, if you're going to be making trades like this, you need to make the other person aware of what they're trading away. This is a super dick move if they aren't at least partially aware that you're taking $100 from them. I mean, people are allowed to make mistakes if they are happy with it at the time, I once traded away 2 Ajani Goldmane and an Elspeth Tirel for 3 Gravetiller Wurm... But if you have any shred of empathy, you need to let the other person know what they did / are going to be doing.

Thanks for the suggestions! Not sure how I missed Hardened Scales. I was even thinking about how nice Doubling Season would be.
I was thinking the same thing about Renegade Krasis. I added Carnage Wurm, Outland Colossus, Vorapede (which may be problematic requiring 3 green), and Gravetiller Wurm.

Wurmlover, you could also put in some creatures with Morbid, like Gravetiller Wurm(since you are a wurmlover :D). That way you can reap even more benefits from the death of your creatures.

What budget are you working with? Lord of Extinction can finish the game, but he's not a bulk rare.
You probably ought to add the suite of Grave Pact cards: Dictate of Erebos, Butcher of Malakir, Grave Pact.
It looks like you have a +1/+1 sub theme, but some of your creatures are "meh" like Gravetiller Wurm. Consider some easier cards to grow like Scute Mob etc that you can cast and let chill until they are huge.
Probably ought to bump your land count closer to 37, since you want to be well ahead on mana to start casting bombs and you are in the two best colors for mana ramp. Sol Ring just got reprinted in the new Commander product, so buy the B/G deck and voila.
Finally, consider more recursion to the battlefield instead of your hand - Mikaeus, the Unhallowed, Reanimate, Beacon of Unrest, Hell's Caretaker, etc.
