As there is a new set on the horizon, and just for moneys sake I will update the lands later (like dual lands and such). Honestly the special lands will probably just be whatever I can get my hands on.

I updated the mana base slightly, putting in some Basics instead of Scry lands in an attempt to speed up the deck slightly

I can´t believe I had this so forgotten, I didn't even finish it here.

Soul Foundry was being troublesome so I did cut it in half (casting copies still the point here), added another Expedition Map and a sideboard with some staples and Wurmcoil Engine to shake things from time to time.

Ok so I'm working with a few decks now (I like variety) but this one remains one of my favorites, to the point that I don't know what to move even when can fail sometimes XD.

Moved Voidstone Gargoyle for Council of the Absolute, 'cause is easier to use and good against similar decks. Also a couple of Runed Halo since I'm still not so happy with Pithing Needle.

So... I love eight and a half tales but he's being difficult to use here, and I don't know if I really need him, also, I just had Gwafa Hazid, Profiteer in my opening hand along with Leyline of Singularity and it was awesome! so I'm gonna try leave the space of the first creature for the second one.

I added It That Betrays as a second fatty, I love how different is to win with him instead of Blightsteel Colossus from time to time (thanks Levon777)

Also put in some Fog but I've been thinking maybe Vapor Snag instead of it? What you guys think? What should I take out?

+1x Bloodghast, +1x Gravecrawler, -1x Flame-Wreathed Phoenix, -1x Desecration Demon The latter two force a kind of atmosphere that I don't really want to convey with the deck and take up room for the former two that work well with the theme of the deck.

To improve my Jund Monsters matchup, I may be playing UW Planar Cleansing control this coming FNM. If so, I will post my results.

3-1 at FNM

This week, I went 3-1 to a top 5 finish.

Round 1: UB Phenax Mill (2-0) Three words: Elixir of Immortality. In all seriousness, he actually did a very good job piloting the deck; however, in both games, I had answers for his creatures and a faster Jace, Memory Adept.

Round 2: Jund Monsters (0-2) THIS GUY. I CAN'T WIN. This is the same person I've faced every week, and he always crushes me. Game 1, Xenagos escaped several Detention Spheres through Abrupt Decay, and a constant barrage of creatures beat me down. Game 2, I was in decent shape, until a Rakdos's Return for 7 happened. Only Sphinx's Revelation could save me... and I drew an Island.

Round 3: White Weenies (2-0) This is a fantastic matchup for me. He was playing the version with a plethora of anthems, including Path of Bravery, Spear of Heliod, Hall of Triumph, etc. Game 1, he could not fight through Supreme Verdict, and Elspeth sealed his fate. Game 2, Jace, Architect of Thought dug for answers as I repeatedly killed his creatures. Again, Elspeth led me to a swift victory.

Round 4: Gruul Monsters (2-0) After round 2, crushing this deck felt so good. Game 1, I 1-for-1 removed his threats until I proceeded to mill his entire library with Jace, Memory Adept. In game 2 I chained Sphinx's Revelations into Elspeth, Sun's Champion and swung for 27.

first game i tested it and already i don't like my mana. Will work on it soon, but i went up against Bogles and it was a pretty easy MU.

Fixed the lands and changed the Resto-Tusk interaction to something more aggressive. Replaced my 3x Thragtusk with Loxodon Smiter and Replaced the 2x Restoration Angel with Mirran Crusader. Kinda mainboard Jund/Rock hate but seem to be fine enough to warrent maindecking.

I lost to Esper Humans. Partially, it was because I drew terrible things both rounds. Lands for days doesn't work in my favor. Oh well.. Now, I am preparing for the Grand prix in Kansas City in July. 1st Place EDH Tournament

Today I reached the First Place in the Commander/EDH Tournament of my local area for the first time. There were all kind of edh decks, but my three opponents were, Maelstrom Wanderer, Arcanis and Skullbriar, The deck worked pretty welll controlling the matches with discard effects and winning fast with Skithiryx, sometimes the games got stucked (especially against Arcanis deck) and then I lost 1 of the 3 matches. All I can say is the deck is working fine for now, but there are momments where the deck needs to improve a different way to win, so I'm looking for other cards that could help me. Of course I need cards like Vampiric TutorGC but in general, I'm Happy with the deck :)
