Cleaned up the pre "Change to Punishing Jund" comments
Kaitoghost, 11 years ago
Removed a Wasteland for a Forest
Sideboard:
Removed 2x Choke for 1x Duress and 1x Sylvan Library
Removed a Sulfuric Vortex for a Jund Charm

Format change: Modern
Nightmist, 11 years ago
The time is almost upon us: Door to Nothingness will rotate out soon, so now is a good a time as any make the switch to Modern.
This will open up a plethora of new cards for me to use, but the rules remain the same:
- Door to Nothingness as the ONLY win condition for the main deck
- Milling as the ONLY win condition for the sideboard
Comments cleared, so keep those suggestions coming...

Ready for playtesting
sideboard
chandlerwrx06, 11 years ago
Ive been taking a hard look at the sideboard, and changed some things around.I just dont know how to really effectively create a sideboard for this build type to bring the flexibility and robustness to the deck. It plays pretty well against most build types BUT Id like to have a better sideboard. Considering adding Rest in Peace for the jund/golgari/ reanimator builds. Any assistance would greatly appreciated! Thanks

Took out Coat of Arms and replaced them with Aquitect's Will. Reduced the number of Brainstorms and Door of Destinies and added some Ponders.

Ready for playtesting - although given that only {U} in Main is Diregraf Captain - may move to mono black...

Finished Deck, although I would like to ensure that there are no mana problems when it comes to the {GGG} Predator Oozes.

Added some Board Wipes, because all EDH's have at least one. I chose Damnation and Apocolypse. Since Red and Black are the highest colours here.![Scion of the Ur-Dragon feature for Ur-Dragon the Mighty[help!]](http://static.tappedout.net/mtg-cards-2/commander-2017/scion-of-the-ur-dragon/mtg-cards/_user-added/pieguy396-scion-of-the-ur-dragon-15078303380.jpg)
Update #1
Chunmuchy, 11 years ago
Play group started to implement infinite combos in their deck so I thought id toss some stuff in as well.
Here are the Changes:
Crypt Ghast -> Thopter Assembly
Sword of Body and Mind -> Time Sieve
The above two makes an infinite turn combo.
Sword of War and Peace -> Rings of Brighthearth
Everflowing Chalice -> Basalt Monolith
The above two makes an infinite mana combo.
Mask of Riddles -> Ashnod's Altar
For additional mana that can be generated from Oona's tokens
Also please give some advice for where Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir could replace in my deck.

Rework

Removed some of the cards such as Dreg Mangler to make room for different cards that I found better like Geralf's Messenger. This decks focus isn't on complete Aggro anymore, but rather being able to get early creatures out to get the advantage and being able to make them bigger later. Additionally, this deck has a lot of mid-range cards to help in the later stages of the game.

Round 1 vs a Miracle deck Game 1 won with wild defiance and blessing combo turn 5. Game 2 lost drew no wild defiance or wild beastmaster. Game 3 lost same way Round 2 vs junk midrange Lost both opening games (should have had some counter) I did misplay phytoburst as I forgot it was a sorcery and was hoping to bait my opponent to block in combat Round 3 received a bye that's what happens when you want to try an untested deck and then because so many dropped out you don't get to play Round 4 vs life gain deck Won game 1 with two wild defiance in play turn 5. Lost game 2 drew only one forest through turn 7 holding three Geist in hand. Lost game 3 close but no cigar my opponent simply gained more life that I could take and without drawing a biomancer I had no late game answers to hit harder. Obviously 2-6 sucks but I did get to see it work and this deck is of my own design
