Rhadamanthus on Does Shabraz trigger when phased …
2 weeks ago
It sounds like you have the right ideas about how this works. Shabraz and Rielle trigger from conniving, Shabraz can't trigger from Rielle's draw and your opponents can't respond in-between conniving and phasing.
When resolving a spell/ability, you follow all the instructions in order. Any triggered abilities that trigger from events during the resolution will trigger when those events happen, but they have to wait to be put onto the stack until the spell/ability is completely finished resolving. No player has priority to take an action in the middle of a spell/ability resolving.
This means Shabraz will trigger twice from the two connives and Rielle will trigger once (since that's the limit on her trigger). The triggers have to wait to go onto the stack until Change of Plans is completely finished. If you chose to phase out both Shabraz and Rielle, then you will gain life from Shabraz' triggers but not put any +1/+1 counters on him and you will draw a card from Rielle but Shabraz won't be around to trigger from it.

It depends. As written, if you don't do anything else, then the tokens in this example will get exiled because they aren't creature tokens. However, if you spend the mana to turn them into creatures then they'll be ok.
A copy effect copies everything written on the original object, plus the result of any copy effects that it happens to be under (e.g. a copy of a Clone of Runeclaw Bear will be another Bear, not another Clone), and that's it. No other effects being applied to the original object get copied.
In your example this means the copies of Lavaclaw Reaches created by Blade of Selves will just be regular, un-animated Reaches. If you leave them un-animated then The Master, Multiplied won't stop them from being exiled at end of combat, but if you activate the ability on any of them to turn them into creatures then The Master's ability will apply and they won't get exiled.

Hunding, Retired Robaran
Legendary Creature - Human Pirate
Rampage 1
When Hunding enters, create a tapped treasure token for each opponent you have.
Treasures you control have ", sacrifice this artifact: Choose an opponent. That player chooses a color. You and that player each add 2 mana of the chosen color"

+1 sir. Am a big fan of graveyard shenanigans decks (can see mine here - Fungus, Among'us - The Mycotyrant, Dredge-King) however....
I think the suggestion of a Endurance, or even an Eldrazi titan (Kozilek, Butcher of Truth, or Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre) as a way of not impacting your opponents graveyard, but protecting your own. Especially with the Endurance, you can instant speed protect your own tasty graveyard from a BOG effect. I for sure know how much something like that can be bit of a wrecking ball.
Great deck though for sure.

Hi fellow Goreclaw-player!
Might I suggest the following:
- Eladamri, Korvecdal: better version of Augur of Autumn in terms of creature-casting from the top of your deck, in that he doesn't have the prerequisite Augur has. The way he can also help to make (large) creatures appear on the battlefield for free is pretty awesome too.
- Frenzied Baloth/Prowling Serpopard: helps against those pesky blue players.
- Jumbo Cactuar: give it trample or unleash it against an opponent that has no remaining blockers and watch em die.
- Ohran Frostfang: doesn't just make your army much deadlier in an attack, but also provides a lot of useful card-draw when your guys' hits land.
- Ojer Kaslem, Deepest Growth: more potential free casting (and ramp).
- Yeva, Nature's Herald: your creatures will become a lot more scary if they can appear at any given time.
Have fun with the deck!

Voracious Vizzerdrix
Legendary Creature - Rabbit Beast
Trample, Menace
At the beginning of your upkeep, sacrifice a non-rabbit creature. If you don't, Voracious Vizzerdrix deals 6 damage to you.
Whenever Voracious Vizzerdrix deals combat damage to a player, create a token that's a copy of it.
6/6
"Once the result of boredom, the Vizzerdrixes rapidly grew out of control. Whose control you ask? Everyone's, even their own."
Massively overstatted 4-drop () with a sacrifice trigger on upkeep? ()? Oldschool bend, I'd say.
Let's see a retrain of some bald old card.

Pretty solid for a first deck. Just wanted to give you a heads up rhat Dramatic Finale technically isn't legal in this deck, since its hybrid mana means it's also . I'd recommend checking out Kinbinding if you want another budget-ish power/toughness anthem.
Aside from that, I'd recommend looking at maybe 2-3 cards in the 5-8 mana cost range to swap out for 1-2 more lands and/or 1-2 2 cost mana rocks like Mind Stone or something similar.
Hopefully those suggestions are helpful. Lmk if there's any suggestions you're looking for.

If it was just a decision between Noble Hierarch and Arcane Signet, then I think that there is an argument to be made that the Hierarch is better in a Chulane deck. There are other options though considering how Arcane Signet helps you cast all those early game spells that require two of the same colour of mana. You could go down to 39 lands to add the Hierarch, which I think is reasonable. Or you could take out Augury Owl since the scry effect is pretty weak in comparison to the cheap creatures you already run that draw you a card on ETB.

May seem like a strange question, but I have to ask. Is there a particular reason so much of your ramp is tied to creatures? I counted the ramp in the deck, and you have 8 sources of ramp that are noncreatures and 13 sources of ramp that are creatures, mostly mana dorks.

Angel of the Open Graves
Creature - Angel Warrior
Flying, deathtouch, menace
Whenever Angel of the Open Graves attacks, you may have the defending player gain 2 life. If you do, Angel of the Open Graves must be blocked by an additional creature if able. You may have them gain 2 life any number of times. Each time, Angel of the Open Graves must be blocked by an additional creature.

Is this a color bend or a full break?
Either way, make another mono colored card that bends or breaks its color in a unique and interesting way

Old-Growth Lifedrinker enters with a flying counter, a +1/+1 counter, and a spore counter.
Remove a counter from a creature you control: put another counter on Old-Growth Lifedrinker of each kind already it.
Remove three spore counters from Old-Growth Lifedrinker: Creatures you control get +1/+1 and creatures your opponents control get -1/-1 until end of turn.

berryjon I hate to say it, but me recognizing the reference doesn't save you from the Old Fogey label. It just means that I'll be sharing that label with you. We can be neighbours at the seniors home.
As far as cartoon opening themes go though, Bucky O'Hare is a pretty catchy one. Not quite up there with Ducktales and Tailspin, put I think that I could put it in the same tier as Darkwing Duck.

How do I input MDFC Cards anymore? I have tried every variation I can think of. I used to have to do this: {hagra mauling // hagra broodpit}. I also remember a time where all I had to do was input the front facing card: hagra mauling. I tried: hagra mauling // hagra broodpit, and hagra mauling//hagra broodpit without the space between slashes. What am I missing?

clayperce on CEDH Deck Commander

HUGE disclaimer here, bc I don't play cEDH personally. But folks at my LGS seems to very much respect the opinions in this tier list. They rate K'rrik as A Tier and Tergrid as Special Tier.
- A Tier. Competitive. One step below the titans. Almost god tier but they have a flaw. These are your tournament bread and butter.
- Special Tier: Competitive. This tier is basically the meta-dependent tier. I feel like every Commander in this tier deserves to be in cEDH. I gave them their own tier because their success is gauged mainly by the decks at the table with them. Since these decks vary so wildly from pod to pod i feel uncomfortable giving them a ranking in the Letter categories. Other decks have their own game-plan to progress while these decks win by slowing every other deck down to a standstill or speeding them up to exhaust their resources. These decks can do good, but usually only win through concession or long grindy games. Another thing about these decks is that they often become the target of every other player and usually get blown out of the water before they get a proper foothold (Grand Arbiter for example).
They have a discord server (invite is at the very bottom of the tier list primer) ... I rec' asking for thoughts there.
Good luck (and good skill) in cEDH!
Cheers!

capwner That one took me a couple of minutes to parse, but I got it. And why is it formatted like that? Soul Echo's got a lot of overlap with Solitary Confinement in this deck. It works down to X=1, but I like better than . It doesn't grant shroud, but preventing life loss could be important. I would say it's a meta/sideboard option.
I'm not going to have the time to live test this deck for a while, so if anyone wants to pull it together and see how it works, please do, and let me know how it goes!
