- Don't play Counterspell. You tap out most of your turns, and the double blue is not going to work with your mana base.
- Don't play blue at all. Halimar Excavator in this build is weak, as you have only 2 March from the Tomb as a payoff. And that is also not the best. Void Rend can be replaced by a lot of other removals.
- You should avoid 5 mana cards. With only 20 lands in your deck, you won't be able to play them.
- Play 4 Hada Freeblade. It's the best turn 1 play you have.
- An aggro deck needs some other 1 mana plays as well. I would suggest maybe some 2 Expedition Envoy, 2 Changeling Outcast and 1 Cliffside Lookout. That would bring the number of 1 mana creatures in your deck to 9, which is about right if you want to have one in your opening hand.
- Retreat to Emeria and Kor Entanglers are garbage. Don't play any of them.
- Don't play more than 1 Lantern Scout. Second copy does pretty much nothing. Talus Paladin is better and you should play 2-3.
- In the end, you have to decide whether you want to go all-in on life-gain/drain, or all-in on attacking and +1/+1 counters. Now you are split and then you do neither efficiently.
- The path with attacking is probably better. In that case, you want to play 4 Kazandu Blademaster, 4 Bojuka Brigand, 4 Kabira Evangel, a few Rally the Ranks and remove Cliffhaven Vampire, Ondu Cleric.
- If you go with life-gain, add 4 Serene Steward

I think March from the Tomb is a fine card to run as a 1-of “pet card”. It will do well in super-grindy matchups, as well as decks running board wipes. Saying that, it’s overall worth will be determined by what your local meta is running (if it’s most aggro/combo this becomes pretty useless, if its mostly grindy decks this card becomes super valuable).
But yeah, i think running it as a 1-of looks good.

wallisface Thanks for the advice! I swapped in 4 Expedition Envoy and 3 more lands. Would it be worth keeping in the March from the Tomb as a potential late-game move? Thinking something like another Anguished Unmaking might just make more sense instead.

I've found the strongest allies can be is if you can repeat their ETB effects. Blink and cloning are the best ways to go about that. Graveyard retrieval is another option as well.
I've got tons of effects to make my allies recur over and over in my allies version. It's way more expensive (I originally built it as budget and had cracked most of the cards from packs at the time) but there are still some great budget finds in there:
My big suggestions for at least some protection/recursion from removal and some tricks (you don't have to go with the whole recurring flicker gimmick to get use out of some strategically done recursion... such as snagging more tutors out of Tazri) would be Eerie Interlude , Momentary Blink , Planar Guide , Rescue from the Underworld , March from the Tomb could replace your All Suns' Dawn since it puts them right back on the field. If you don't like the blinking idea Tazri, Beacon of Unity from your maybeboard can help repetitively dig for allies better than a one time tutor ETB from General Tazri will.
Also not budget, and it will make you do a lot of math since all the copies ETB and see each other at the same time, but Rite of Replication is one of the strongest cards allies decks can use, as well as Panharmonicon .
Other budget options would be Mirror of the Forebears from your sideboard since it can keep +1/+1 counters on it, and Distant Melody for big card draw.

What do you guys think about Mythos of Brokkos?
I'm thinking of substitute Bring to Light for it, both of then have issues, bring don't get Arcane Adaptation neither a kicked Rite of Replication and Mythos of Brokkos don't get Rite of Replication.
The two of then works really well alone and have utility for the deck.
Another addition to the list is the Eerie Ultimatum replacing March from the Tomb, the problem is that it costs 2 dollars.
I need you to get to a conclusion.

I feel like your deck is a little heavy on lands. I would definitely cut the khans tap lands and put in pain lands. Your allies will gain you back the life or maybe even more if you have a Kalastria Healer out. I feel that the Deserts are a little much as well, because they're too slow and with your mana costs, it seems that you want to go really fast, and they come in tapped, so it cripples you. The Orzhov Basilica seems like an odd add, as it still slows you down quite a bit. I would recommend replacing then with Swamps and Plains. I would go down to 22 lands, cutting the Deserts and the Evolving Wilds, replace the temples with Caves of Koilos, replace the Scoured Barrens with Swamps and Islands, and add some more creatures or removal.
Now, to something I love: Kaya's Ghostform. That's a lovely add, because you can slam Gideon, make tokens, then next turn you can Ghostform him, make an emblem, then make more Allies. I really love that interaction because you have a draining clock that is gonna work so, so well with that! The Kaya in here isn't one I would have thought of, but she seems a little slow. I would replace Kaya with another March from the Tomb and a Zulaport Cutthroat. These are all recommendations, though, so do take this with a grain of salt.

thanks for the comment, i know the combo but requires specific cards to make that happen, alone they don't works well for the purpose of the deck. I found March from the Tomb more consistent and i'll try Thunderkin Awakener for sure, good grave recycler and synergyzes very well with other creatures and/or with Crucible of Fire out. Also Thundermaw Hellkite can be another good (expensive) addition cause he synergyzes too much with the rest of the deck.
I need more test but i'll try this setup:
- +1 March from the Tomb (maybe but i think 2 is enough).
- +2 Thunderkin Awakener (-2 valiant).
- +2 Thundermaw Hellkite (-2 mirror), also swapping Goblin Matron with Sarkhan's Triumph .

A question for any who find it, when selecting targets from the graveyard for March from the Tomb : If either Herald's Horn or Urza's Incubator were in-play and effecting Allies, would I calculate the "Total Converted Mana Cost" in March from the Tomb with or without the Casting Cost Reductions of Herald's Horn or Urza's Incubator ?
