This deck essentially revolves around Master Transmuter's ability to drop in beaters (Darksteel Colossus) This makes the deck surprisingly resistant to counterspells because you actually don't cast spells very often.

Birthing Pod + Treasure Mage allows you to drop a Master Transmuter into play from your library while tucking a high-cost utility artifact into your hand to drop in later.

Filigree Angel + Myr Battlesphere fills the battlefield with 1/1 chump blockers that can be used for the battlesphere's direct damage ability, or to inflate your life total to unreasonable levels in preparation for Eternity Vessel .

Duplicant + Master Transmuter : Drop in Duplicant and shapeshift to any needed creature in your graveyard.
