Mainboard: It's just really good stuff. The deck has the best removal and discard coupled with highly efficient creatures that are huge, kill spells on a stick, or draw cards. The mana base uses fetches to pump Tarmogoyf and get delirium for Grim Flayer. The four card types necessary to activate delirium are land, creature, instant, and sorcery which gets easier with Thought Scour and the fact that you already want to cast the instants and sorceries to stop what your opponent is doing. Snapcaster Mage has tons of value in this deck and Tasigur, the Golden Fang gets back removal or creatures most of the time. The instants are: Thought Scour, Fatal Push, and Abrupt Decay which are all extremely good. A neat trick is to play a fetch, pass and leave up Fatal Push and Thought Scour, so that if your opponent is playing infect or burn, you can fetch, use the second option for Fatal Push, or if they don't play anything relevant, you can just play Thought Scour on the end step. The Maelstrom Pulse, Inquisition of Kozilek, and Thoughtseize are pretty self-explanatory as they are already great, but also help activate delirium and get sorceries in the grave for goyfs. The Creeping Tar Pit helps get in that extra bit of damage and the Tireless Tracker helps fill out the curve and prevent mana flooding. The Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet wrecks burn when they don't draw Path to Exile as the removal spells help it get huge and gain us the life back. Jace, Vryn's Prodigy   is legendary and dies to every removal spell, so it only gets two spots. Even still, it is great when it sticks as it fills the yard with spells, filters our hand, and can control the opponents board with the flashback and -3/-0 ability.

Sideboard: Natural State is for some extra removal geared toward affinity and pesky enchantments. Kitchen Finks is for blocking against heavy creature decks and burn. The counters are for opposing control decks, and the Thing in the Ice   is also for heavy creature decks. Lastly, the Fulminator Mage gets read of pesky lands while the Collective Brutality is for control and dorks.
