YOU SHALL NOT PASS, possibly another relevant name that fits well here.

This is a deck idea a friend and I put together. It uses lots of enchantments to defend and to fluff up the pillow fort until one of our win cons can take the game.I could use some sideboard suggestions though. I put the cards I thought I thought would be good for sideboard to use in the "Maybe" category

Here's my description of why i chose certain cards. Let me know if you have any good ideas of things I can add or what would be better!

-Nyx-Fleece Ram A.K.A. Gordon RAMsay, This card has some beast ass synergy here. It provides a solid blocker (keep in mind he's not defender and can swing in later) He's an enchantment and adds to the sphere. Also will trigger archangel every upkeep with the +1 health.

-Courser of Kruphix Another great early blocker with a 4 toughness ass, helps filter deck, gains life (trigger on archangel) and is an enchantment.

-Eidolon of Blossoms Since most of the cards in this deck are enchantments this was the first green creature i added for some card draw. So far it works really well for what we're trying to do. Also an enchantment.

-Purphoros, God of the Forge (recently added for testing removed 2x Heliod, God of the Sun for them) I believe he will helps the win conditions win faster. With our plainswalker and assemble legion shitting out tokens he will be dishing out damage every turn before we even attack. Has a decently relevant 3 mana ability. Also an enchantment.

-Archangel of Thune ~Bust out the D6, shits about to get big~..Unfortunately not an enchantment. But her fucking triggered ability doe... With RAMsey or Courser on board you'll be triggering the +1/+1 on everything before you attack. At this point you can swing a few times and end the game real quick.

- Elspeth, Sun's Champion The plainswalker of the deck, and what lots of people consider "The pillar of standard" Left unchecked, this bish will just win the game alone. Provides moar enter the field effect for Purphoros and more creatures to pump for archangel. (Also flying goats are an auto win in my eyes)..

-Sphere of Safety My favorite card, and what I built this deck around. With all of the new enchantment cards like Courser, Ramsay and Eidolon I figured I could really abuse the fact that I could pump it with my attackers and my opponent could never attack back after I swing which makes having token generators even more relevant because I can just build up until I can swing for lethal.

-Assemble the Legion My second favorite card and the reason I splashed red in the deck. Before red my win conditions were too few and if they died it was basically a stale mate where i couldn't attack because they had creatures and they couldn't attack because I had sphere, so this sorta bypasses that by overwhelming the board with 1/1's. Also there is always a few Mono-Black players at my Meta. And if you didn't know this card trumps mono-black being able to tap down demon forever and block pack rats. Also an enchantment.

-Banishing Light One of the two control type cards in the deck. Gets rid of dumb shit like Detention Sphere that likes to target our Sphere of Safety and other threats we might not be able to take care off otherwise. (Plainswalkers / Gods / Underworld Connections / big creatures. Also an enchantment.

- Selesnya Charm The other control card. It Exiles big early threats like Polukranos, World Eater Desecration Demon Gods and even the occasional Obzedat, Ghost Council although he's not really early par-say. I rarely ever use the 2/2 knight but i can say i have used the +2+2 trample to swing over with my courser to take out defending plainswalkers or block Blood Baron of Vizkopa and kill with courser.

-Bow of Nylea While flipping through my binder this card caught my eye. Did you know that Boros Burn is a very real deck that stomps deck like this very hard. Burn fucking hates lifegain.. Especially 3 life every turn, It completely owns them and actually gives us a fighting chance(and also triggers Archangel of Thune). Every other ability is also relevant for the deck. Be funny, swing with a 0/5 Ramsay.. they block with something, you give ol' Ramsey A +1+1 and has deathtouch. Whose laughing now.. Also dealing 2 damage to a flyer will poo on mono blue's early creatures and give us an edge when swinging with our little beaters since what ever creatures they hit they will kill.

- Kruphix's Insight A kick ass card draw machine, sooo many enchantments in this deck to find using this card you rarely ever are unable to draw at least 2 cards. Very good on turn 3 for the card advantage. I moved the number down from 4 to 3 because when you reveal a Selesnya Charm Elspeth, Sun's Champion , Archangel of Thune and some lands (which i've done..) Its a huge fucking bummer, maybe not the best reason to only have 3. But i also needed room and that was the first card i could think of taking out.

-Encroaching Wastes If you are thinking about trying out this deck you are probably as stoked as i was that you finally had a reason to use those FNM promos that you've shoved into a box somewhere in the trunk of your car. I realized that Devotion decks are pretty common. And like most devotion decks there's a horse shit mana ramp card called Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx which makes our Sphere of Safety useless because they will be able to pay what ever amount of mana for their creatures to attack. So i've added in 2 specifically for that and sometimes mutavault. Because hindering their mana to not attack us is what we want. And it was easier to fit in than something like Bramblecrush

-Mana Confluence Adding in the 3rd color i thought i might need a little mana fixing. Have not tested with them in yet but hopefully they work out okay. I figure with the life-gain I am able to get eventually it will make up for it in the long run..

But.... Besides the fact that we get blown out by cards like Polis Crusher and an overloaded Cyclonic Rift things that kill or lock down our Sphere of Safety and well-placed counter magic. This deck has proven to be quite fun. No one expects it, that's for sure and its different from the main "Top Tier" decks that everyone else is running. I am very open to suggestions and will try just about anything that sounds good to make this deck FNM ready next week. Please leave comments and +1's.

Updates Add

I received some great suggestions on other things I could add in.

Since board wipes and removal spells are everywhere someone suggested Boros Charm for the indestructibility which i thought could work really well here. Ill play test with it in main and side.

Another great card mentioned was Chained to the Rocks The only problem i think i would have with this one is that i don't run enough "Mountains". Its possible ill play with the mana-base and work it in somehow.
