It Only Hurts If You Allow It To Hurt (Modern MTG Deck)

This is the rebuilding of my first deck I played when I started (started playing during the RTR block) playing the game. This list was based off a similar list by Alex Crappel, but I obviously have made modifications to it. The object is very simple, hold off opponent's attacks with your removal spells until you can land Curse of Misfortune to gather more curses which will eventually burn the opponent out with no need to do a thing but protect your life total.

The sideboard is pretty self explanatory as well. Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet for the life gain and defense against aggressive decks. Thunderbreak Regent came in to replace Desecration Demon because of its ability to hurt our opponents for targeting it, this is helpful to our overall plan. The hand destruction cards are brought in for control or midrange match-ups where they purely depend on something big. Rakdos Charm serves as artifact removal (plenty of that in the format these days), graveyard hate (plenty of that as well), and a way to hurt our agrro opponents who love playing multiple creatures a turn.
