About card choises:

Creatures:

Tarmogoyf - Modern all-star, that is very solid draw at anypoint of game. Early game beater that grows fast (need i say more?)

Tasigur, the Golden Fang - New card from FRF. I was pretty sceptic with this card at first, but after testing, it has proven it self. In many situations it's as valuable as 'goyf' or even better. Ability is easy to use and it's very powerful.

Scavenging Ooze - Lifegain mostly. Can be grown solid beater for lategame if needed. Eats everything that you kill with 'Decay' or counter.Also has nice synergy with Tasigurs ability.

Snapcaster Mage - Recycles your instants and sorceries and flashes to the frontline.Also has nice synergy with Tasigurs ability (also nonbo with Tasigur).

Vendilion Clique - One of the best beaters in game. 3/1 body that flies. ETB ability can be used many ways so it's pure value all the time.

Instants & Sorceries:

Dismember - cheap & powerful removal, gets rid of almost everything annoying. (On side)

Inquisition of Kozilek - Deck is playing full set because due lifeloss of Thoughtseize. Modern is fast-paced low CMC format (mostly) so it hits allmost everything.

Thoughtseize - If IOK can't handle something, this will.

Murderous Cut - Because of high amount of fetches 'n stuff, this card is almost free. 1of because you don't want to see these in your starting hand.

Abrupt Decay - Can't be countered and removes annoying cards that would othervise break your deck (blood moon etc.)

Spell Snare - Counters cards like Tarmogoyf , Dark Confidant.. well everything that costs 2
