Magus of the Mirror Discussion

I think she makes a lot of the magus stronger. Magus of the Wheel, Magus of the Will, Magus of the Jar, even Magus of the Mirror could be fun. Not sure how competitive the deck will be but sure looks fun. The deck might be a bit mana hungry though.

dbpunk Magus of the Vineyard, Magus of the Library, Magus of the Candelabra, Magus of the Disk, Magus of the Tabernacle, Magus of the Moat, Magus of the Bazaar, Magus of the Jar and Magus of the Future would like a word with you :)
That being said there was already Magus of the Moon, Magus of the Arena, Magus of the Scroll, Magus of the Coffers, Magus of the Abyss and Magus of the Mirror before they made Magus of the Will and Magus of the Wheel.
So the current magus breakdown is: White 3, Blue 3, Black 4, Red 4, Green 3. So You could be in luck with them evening out the total number of magus!

Friend just let me know that Protean Hulk was unbanned and I wasn't aware.
Adding him in, taking out Magus of the Mirror.

Yes, I believe that any time a player's life total change, it counts as life gain/loss.
Magus of the Mirror for instance, says right in its gatherer ruling that the players involved gain/lose the respective amount of life it takes to set them at the given life totals.
9/25/2006 When the life totals are exchanged, each player gains or loses the amount of life necessary to equal the other player’s previous life total. For example, if player A has 5 life and player B has 3 life before the exchange, player A will lose 2 life and player B will gain 2 life. Replacement effects may modify these gains and losses, and triggered abilities may trigger on them.

I understand Demon of Death's Gate & Liege of the Pit due to being able to use the alternate costs to play the cards, but Lord of the Pit...? Have you been able to survive to get to a 7 drop? I suggest trying out Death's Shadow since your life will be low.
Wall of Shadows + Worship is also a difficult way to stall the game. (might be a sideboard card against any players not playing exile effects). Worship might be better than Lich as when you are damaged they you don't have to sacrifice permanents and Liege of the Pit and Demon of Death's Gate downside doesn't have an effect. Angel's Grace can also be a one time save until you get your enchantments down.
Repay in Kind > Soul Conduit paying 7 in one turn is better then 12 or 6 over two. You can also try out Magus of the Mirror as additional versions of that effect.
the deck could also use some card draw to ensure you hit one of your enchantments. Try out Night's Whisper, Sign in Blood, or Read the Bones. If you really crazy then Pain's Reward or Infernal Contract
I would remove Phyrexian Altar, Phyrexian Walker, Lich
Nice idea haven't seen many decks like this. Happy brewing.

Magus of the Mirror is another soul conduit effect. It's a bit more vulnerable but also cheaper.
I'm not sure if you know about it but theirsa weird interaction with Death's Shadow. If your life total drops to say-5, it becomes a 1 mana 18/18.
Street Wraith can effectively make you have a 56 card deck at the cost of a bit of life.
As for sideboard:
Rest for the Weary against burn/aggro decks (you want your life low but not before you're ready)
Leyline of Sanctity against burn hand disruption etc
