The deck's aim is to control the board and then win with the planeswalkers it contains or with Celestial Colonnade . But let's see how does it work in a more detailed way:

The Deck's Strategy

Control the board, using Remand , Path to Exile , Detention Sphere , Meddling Mage and the combo Phyrexian Unlife + Solemnity . Then kill the opponent with Gideon of the Trials , Gideon, Ally of Zendikar or Celestial Colonnade .

Card Analysis

- Cryptic Command probably one of the best counters in modern.
- Detention Sphere very helpfull when opponent has creatures with the same name.
- Gideon, Ally of Zendikar creates token for with his 0 ability and if you have the Gideon of the Trials token you can't lose the game.
- Gideon of the Trials on the battlefield with the emblem created with his 0 ability makes you invincible.
- Mana Leak it's a good counter. - Meddling Mage kills most combo decks and blocks all the cards you don't want to see on the battlefield.
- Path to Exile controls the board, preventing big creatures from attacking you. Or you could use it on one of your tokens if you need one more land.
- Phyrexian Unlife is a very good card since your opponent will need more turns to kill you and makes you unbeatable if you have also Solemnity on the battlefield.
- Remand counters whatever you need and makes you draw a card.
- Search for Azcanta   makes you scry every turn and becomes very usefull when flipped. - Serum Visions makes you draw a card and scry 2.
- Solemnity with Phyrexian Unlife makes you unbeatable since you won't receive poison counters. - Sphinx's Revelation makes you gain life and draw some cards at instant speed.
- Supreme Verdict is a mass removal that helps controlling the board. It can't also be countered making it a very good card.
