In my attempt to brew Modern Esper control I have finally realized the missing piece. Most have and will call me crazy, but I took my insane idea to an FNM and won. Never losing a game. 10-0. Blood moon? I laughed. Jund? Yeah, right. Junk? Try again. Bloom? Nope. Tron? That was DEFINITELY TOUGH.

Anyways, my secret concoction is now ready to be revealed. After extensive testing, and playing, it is good. Really good.

Behold, Esper Control, WITH TANGO LANDS.

It's ALIVE. It's ALIIIIIIIIIIIIVE.

P.S. Tango Lands are really good, but they are nothing without the great creature suite of Geist, Baron and Tasigur along with Hand Disruption, solid card draw, and of course tempo cards like Cryptic Command, Remand and Ojutai's Command.
