This is the deck I had been working on, and playing since I played Day 1 of Open Beta MTG Arena. When they released Unburial Rites which I play in Modern paper, I knew it was time. It gets little tweaks from time to time. If you have any suggestions, or like the build hit me with that +1!

The main idea here is Control hard in the beginning, and overrun them with reanimation targets. Midrange Control maybe. but as long as you last to turn 4, you usually have the game set. The early cards you want to be casting are Thought Erasure, and Faithful Mending. Turn 3 is usually a land go and see what happens. Gives you an opportunity to counter something, or hold to remove a target. OR if you had cast Faithful Mending EoT T2, you can play it again here. Such a fantastic card. Turn 4 you are Wrathing 9 times out of 10 with Supreme Verdict. This is the weakest part of the deck as you have to hope the opponent can't come back fast. Back to back Supreme Verdict isn't ideal, but none the less 4x of them are needed. you could also cast Unburial Rites early if you have Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite to wipe, Sheoldred, Whispering One, Serra's Emissary, or Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger. Now if you survived, turn 5 is hard casting Unburial Rites, again targeting any of the biggest creatures in the grave. It's all situational to the match, but I love getting Sheoldred, Whispering One to just keep bringing creatures back for free as long as it isn't removed. Saves us some Rites to hold.
