Basically you are gaining life while taking life from your opponent Erebos, God of the Dead makes sure your opponents don't regain the life you steal away and his Whip of Erebos gives all of your creatures lifelink. Archfiend of Depravity + Indulgent Tormentor + Nefarox, Overlord of Grixis will potentially force your opponent to sacrifice creatures and making your victory all the more likely.
