Yes, that will work. Using Misdirection to change the target of a spell to Bonecrusher Giant will cause the Giant's ability to trigger.
Note that "becoming a target" means it wasn't a target before but now it is. If the Giant was already one of the targets of Winterflame for example, using Goblin Flectomancer to change the other target to also be the Giant won't cause it to trigger again.

I like the deck, but isnt it a little heavy on creatures to support cards like Enigma Geists and Wee Dragonnauts? I suggest cutting some of the weaker creatures (Ornithopter, Surveilling Sprite, Spiketail Hatchling, etc.), and add some more cheap cantrips or spells with Flashback, Buyback, or Rebound Reckless Charge, Artful Dodge, Distortion Strike, Mystic Retrieval, Deep Analysis.
Steam Augury, Winterflame, and Izzet Charm are some nice dual color options to trigger your commander.

Nobody knows for sure (except maybe the artist), but I'm guessing the character on Winterflame is Shaman of the Great Hunt (even though the axe silhouette isn't quite right), who is possibly Chianul (from the flavor text).There's more about Temur shamans, Chinual, and the Dragon's Throat in this guide and he or she also left some flavor text on these three cards.
But yeah, it could be Garruk, Apex Predator (even though the axe silhouette isn't quite right for him either). Garruk has never officially been to Tarkir, but he could have travelled there right after meeting the Planeswalker 'Icy' at the end of this story, if maybe he thought Icy came from Tarkir or something ...

I always carry a Winterflame for when folks ask about the art on my playmat.
I've also started carrying around a few Veteran's Sidearms, so I can give one out as a small token of thanks whenever I find out my opponent served in the military.
Besides that though, nothing really ... though I do enjoy collecting foreign language versions my favorite cards.

Turn / Burn > Winterflame - the latter reminds me of my days of thinkering with Midnight Charm, its not bad, but it is not good enough
