An Urza, Lord High Artificer Mono Blue Artifact deck attempting to not lean into the Control + Infinite Mana Combo style common in cEDH decks.

An attempt at a more casual/battlecruiser but still strong take on this commander. In the early game the deck uses cheap artifacts, and artificers to populate the board with as many cheap artifacts as possible. Once Urza is out he can fill the board with artifacts quickly by using the artifacts on the board as mana sources and then relying on Urza's impulse play ability to turn a board full of artifacts into random haymakers off the top of the deck. The deck is looking to run as few lands as possible to avoid misses on the impulse play ability and since we can use artifacts & artifact creature as mana sources. It doesn't run much draw since it is looking to repeatedly play cards off the top of it's deck. And it runs minimal control needed to not have the command tax run up too high on Urza that you can't play him.

• Note: This deck list is very preliminary based off of what I could pull and sleeve from the collection. The basic engine of the deck runs smoothly, but at some point I am planning on upgrading with singles that will augment the deck with better large/better Artifact creatures/large spell payoffs for Urza's 3rd ability and more flicker/clone abilities in order to build up an army of Urza's Construct tokens.
