Renowned Weaponsmith Discussion
There is also Weaver of Currents , who is honestly really good.
If you are considering a 1/1 for , I could see that as long as it produces rather than a specific color. More flexibility in casting to offset the reduction in color fixing.

Actually I tried (on arena) to remove Shimmer Dragon and replace it with Salvager of Ruin ; I also added 1x Vial of Dragonfire in order to take it from the deck with Renowned Weaponsmith if I have more mana than I need. I'll try Gingerbrute over Shambling Suit , even though it's not a threat himself nor I'm able to consistenly search for Steel Overseer . I let you know if it will be a good addition (ty for the suggestion btw).

Cringe opportunity. The only reason I would run it, and I have, in a competitive setting is with the Renowned Weaponsmith in an artifact build that also used Ensoul Artifact and the like and would side it in if the opponent had much artifact removal and I needed an artifact I could search for if I ran out or had none. Good Luck!

TypicalTimmy - Honestly, I'd be extremely confused, as it is a huge break of the colour pie. Mono-Blue does not generate coloured mana, with the three exceptions of: (1) Ceta Disciple , which requires Green to use the mana ability; (2) Sea Scryer , which only produces , and, further, is an older card, from an era where the colour pie was not as important as it is today, and (3) Vedalken Engineer , which is limited to artifacts. Further, all of Blue's mana generation is on permanents, not instant spells.
Properly, your card probably should involve both Red and Green. Green tends to be the colour of Colour fixing, while Red tends to be the colour of instant speed mana generation. Which, at this point, we've just reinvented Manamorphose .
If we wanted to do a Blue-inspired colour fixing instant, we'd still want the Red element, as Red gives us access to instant-speed mana generation. Something like:
Add . Spend this mana only to cast an instant or sorcery spell.
New challenge: Take an previously-posted card on this thread, ideally in the past page, with a colour pie issue and rework it so it fits with our modern understanding of each colour's role.

Scepter+Thing - love it.
I think you should be able to hardcast all of the instants. Once you've imprinted them on Scepters, you'll still want to be able to cast them from your hand.

Soldevi Machinist, Vedalken Engineer and Renowned Weaponsmith are actually powerful in this deck as well Arcum Dagsson is way too powerful. Sunstone is kinda silly but it will save you a few games sometimes.

Thanks a lot Darth_Savage for your suggestions.
I will cut some lands to add 4 Renowned Weaponsmith and see how the deck will do

I think your deck needs some form of ramp, since Panoptic Mirror costs 5 and Chandra, Flamecaller costs 6. For the Mirror you can leverage Vedalken Engineer or Renowned Weaponsmith since it is an artifact. More generally Desperate Ritual, Pyretic Ritual or Simian Spirit Guide can speed up your plays. Without the ramp you really won't do much until turn 5 and that isn't a good place to be in Modern.
Hope this comment is of help, good luck brewing your deck.
