The Eternal Benefactors (GW Gods and Tokens)

Standard Aggro Combo Competitive GW (Selesnya) Tokens

DeathByDesign

Sideboard

The Primary Engine of the Deck is Benefaction of Rhonas and Anointed Procession. Benefaction dumps our 14 eternalize/embalm critters and 3 aftermath spells into the graveyard while helping us dig for Anointed Procession.

Merfolk Branchwalker and Jadelight Ranger help us self-mill or hit our land drops as this is a very mana hungry deck looking to go off on turn 5 making two or more 4/4s a turn.

I haven't brought it to FNM yet, but on paper, it seems like it will have game against the field, particularly against control decks. In my mind, my biggest concern is "Big Red" Flyers of Glorybringer and Rekindling Phoenix, but ideally we can win the race with with our not insignificant amount of lifegain main deck.

Sideboard focuses a lot on Enchantment based strategies to benefit from Benefaction of Rhonas digging ability and give more game against Approach and Big Red.

Anyways, thoughts?

Edit: Added Cast Out and Legion's Landing for more enchantment hits for Benefaction of Rhonas. Also added Sacred Cat. These replaced Prepare, Sunscourge Champion, and a singleton of Jadelight Ranger from the main deck. The 1/1 Lifelink tokens give our Resilient Khenra more to do when played out on turn 2 (and probably gain more life in the early game than Sunscourged) and are really good with Appeal.

Edit 2: Back up to four Jadelight Ranger, down to two Appeal

Edit 3: Move towards more value, combos, and mana sinks. Dropped Merfolk Branchwalker, Jadelight Ranger, Benefaction of Rhonas, and Anointed Procession, added some Gods, more Appeals and more token producers.

This Green-White tokens build plays very similarly to an Electrostatic Pummeler deck looking to combo kill our opponent. Our primary kill creatures are Adorned Pouncer and Oketra the True which both have Double Strike. We then give them buffs and trample in order of power with Appeal / Authority, Rhonas the Indomitable, Huatli, Radiant Champion, Resilient Khenra, Hashep Oasis, Oath of Ajani, and Shefet Dunes.

Our back up plan is to go wide with tokens and buff them up a bit with these spells (with the hexproof Merfolk token from Jungleborn Pioneer or lifelink Vampire token from Legion's Landing to go all in on with our single target pumps if our Double Strikers aren't available.

The deck nicely attacks from multiple angles (indestructible threats, large board states, recursive threats, and extremely tall pumped creatures) that give more removal focused control decks fits (counter spells are still awful). I've yet to be beaten by a Grixis Energy/Control variant and I want nothing more than them to tap out for The Scarab God , so I can very easily one shot them from there.

The worst matchup is GB counters though with Walking Ballista answering our tokens and Pouncers like a boss and large threats to punch through and defend against our board.

The prevalence of trample lets me punch through WB Tokens easily as well, which is far better at building a board state then we are.

Luckily? my meta doesn't have many RDW players, but I try to hedge against it in the board.

Looking at Karn, Scion of Urza (card draw and token synergy with Servos), deck: Shalai, Voice of Plenty (protect combo and team buff), Shanna, Sisay’s Legacy (huge creature), Song of Freyalise (Ritual like ramp and team buff), card: Benalish Marshall (Anthem), History of Benalia (more tokens), and all the Saproling stuff (more tokens) as possible includes. The one thing of note, is many of these cards will likely detract from the combo kill, but enhance the go wide plan. I do like Shanna though as a combo role player though (in some ways as far as Appeal / Authority is concerned, she's another 2 mana double strike creature who is immune to most white removal (any enter the battlefield trigger like Cast Out or Ravenous Chupacabra, Glorybringer, Walking Ballista, and planeswalkers). Shalai seems useful as an Appeal / Authority enabler, by letting me cast it on one of my double strikers, but they're forced to kill Shalai (a preemptive Blossoming Defense).

Go Wide Dominaria Build: Tinker Token Servo Knight (GW Tokens)

Suggestions

Updates Add

More aggressive and less grindy. Focusing on combo kill quickly rather than taxing opponents resources and building a powerful board. Looking into potential Dominaria modifications.
